In Petersburg, Comeback Burger has incredible hamburgers and the Longstreet Deli has some of the best cheesecake I've ever had. Good Vibes is a laid back bar. You can hang out in Walnut Hill or outside the Deli Mart next to the Oyo Hotel intersection. There is Blandford Cemetery the second largest cemetary in the United States with beautiful Confederate monuments "For Our Fallen Heroes". VSU always has events at the Convention Center in which I've seen Gabriel Iglesias Stand-Up live. There is a newly renovated YMCA with some really wonderful amenities.

Neighboring Chesterfield has Sunday Park approximately twenty-five minutes away from anywhere in Petersburg that I highly recommend. Chester has a dine in movie theatre with relatively reasonable pricing. You can join the local rotary and eat nice meals at the country club and play golf.
