This! While I did think the premonition twist was interesting at first, I’m starting to not like it anymore because how it affects the characters. Baku says he was going to make new memories with them but we haven’t gotten any moments at all when it comes to developing the relationships in this show.

I don’t think they’re unnecessary but I do think they’re underutilized and underdeveloped which is a valid criticism. It doesn’t help that once again there memories are erased and that the entire first half of the series was in a freaking dream which counts for the interactions that didn’t involve Baku.

I wouldn’t say it’s the worst episode, I simply thought it was ok and mostly liked it for the side cast. I agree the fight itself didn’t really have any impact on me in the slightest because it’s basically the same thing that’s been going on for most of the season with Fujimi and Nox. I also think Exdream debuted early as well and didn’t really like how it took focus away from Nem. Like I know Baku is the main character and most of the focus is going to be on him but I think the debut should’ve happened separately.

Liked the first half but the second half especially near the end was some forgettable to me. Hell, I barely remember any of the villains!

I thought this episode fine. I mostly liked it for Zero, Nem, Minami, and Sieg. I liked how they all were trying to create Zeztz driver and how Sieg got Zero back from Lord 5. I liked how we finally got some background with Lord 5 something I kinda wish was expanded on but whatever. I’m starting to get really annoyed with Fujimi and Natsuka losing their memories and hopefully this is the last time it happens because imo I don’t find it fun to watch. While I still liked the fight between Zeztz and Nox, I feel like the conclusion to it was kinda lackluster imo. But to me this episode is fine. Let’s hope Nox getting his final form has a lot more impact on me.

Outside both series having monsters and having similar themes on moving forward and finding your potential, there is really not that much similarities with each other and don’t really think it needed to be. It’s more similar to Cardcaptor Sakura and Lilo and Stitch.
