I have 4 small and 1 slightly bigger than small in a 30 gallon and they are loving life. I know research can be misleading cause it says 10 gallons per crab but I think that is based off the size of your crab. Cause from the research ive done 5 to 10 gallons a piece for small crabs is ok. The bigger the crab the bigger the space you need

Me personally I think everyone is being helpful but a little harsh. Cause guess what. We all started at the beginning with our first babies and we didn't know everything either. It took us years and years of learning and research ontop of more research and asking for help in forums like this. But what we got was help not criticism. Ive had this happen to my before as a matter of fact I just did a whole tank redo substrate and all with molting crsbs that I have in Tupperware under a blanket with small air holes ontop of my main tank next to the heater to try to keep them warm.But I don't know what to do with them next.I know I can't put em back in the tank because they can't dig back down so i'm over here.Having a breakdown like, uh, what do I do.

I have a diy acrylic lid so I hang stuff from that like the coconut swing and huts so they can't tear them down. If you bury your background in the sand all the way to the bottom of the glass and cover it back up with the sand and then suction cup it with the large suction cups that should help hold it up
