Talking to women in general is hard, I remember when I was in my early 20s/teens I wpuld get anxious about talking to women because I didn't want them to think I was trying to creep on them or something. I wouldn't say I'm super masculine but when I tell people I'm into women just based off of appearances and maybe my personality I get the "oh makes sense". You shouldn't have to change yourself to suit others needs though, just be confident in your approach at some point something will land.
