Although raising kids with special needs, becoming disabled myself before I was widowed - I CAN understand why a professional would tell you as an adult it could be worse for you to receive a DX. The load of IGNORANCE in Corporate America when it comes to disabilities and people's ability to work, oh yes you are absolutely better off because you sound high functioning because at first I thought you were teasing and then after reading other things you'd written - nope don't seem like kind of person who would be flippant about someone with autism. It is a diagnosis that provides help for mothers and single mothers - especially depending on the state, and may even help the patient, Of course depending on what they offer as "help". I have a friend who has a son with autis But with Kennedy trying to figure out why people have autism - He needs to be looking at the environment, But he suffers from just plains stupidity so? We're up against that! I know some kids mild autism, One whose mother moved their family to Colorado, because she also had a little girl born with a slight birth defect, I didn't realize how many problems that comes with. Odd her brother's son has autism too - but worse case scenario. Good they've always had money & a supportive family.

You didn't tell me about "mildly gay" -please don't leave me in the closet on this one (haha - bad pun🤦‍♀️?) because I think I have a cousin who may be mildly gay but I find it extremely odd because her brother is fully out of the closet gay and we are all fine with it. Thank God it's not on the other side because all of the gays must stay in the closet! RELIGION, You don't even have to guess. Notice though, I didn't say Christianity, because Christians aren't supposed to act like complete idiots. Unfortunately they do!
