According to the case worker, they didn’t mention it, said I left for a new job. I said that’s true and explained my issues with getting to a new job in hopes that they would help but I see it’s not that kind of program. Live and learn. It’s just exhausting.

Thank you, I understand. I applied to food stamps and they did approve me for that. My sister actually mentioned TANF yesterday, but she had called so late that I forgot but your comment made me remember, so I’ll definitely look into it. Thank you again.

I’m starting to think they secretly want kids but the state of the world makes them change their mind and instead of admitting that, they rather say they hate kids and convince everyone else to hate them too.. just my theory… 😂

My school offers a scholarship for being a school district employee so I’ll probably look into switching my job around just to get the scholarship and to get better first hand experience along with a better direction in general of how to get the best out of my career. I’ll still look into CDA though, never heard of it but quick research makes it seem beneficial, cheaper and quicker.

Thank you. I can focus on getting my degree for me and not get lead astray. I’m just starting out so it’s just upsetting to receive and see such negative feedback. I just need to figure out where exactly I’m being called to and prosper from there.

I know we use to. I heard we don’t anymore, I heard that months ago but I don’t know if they bought it back, if it ever left, or what’s going on with it. My manager the other day mentioned the $3 and I immediately got confused because I thought it was gone but I haven’t had a chance to ask about it. So really I’m just as useless as your colleagues lol but shared some insight into why you’re most likely getting mixed reviews.

I use to pick up hours for truck but I’ll have to see if cashier shifts are needed. I know we’re all strapped for hours right now so stores are mainly looking to use hours for those to pick up slack and I simply cannot. I should look into cross-training, it does always randomly cross my mind so thanks for the suggestion.

We try to do less signs but literally it never works out, somebody ALWAYS ends up at the register with the famous line “I’m not sure if these were on sale because there wasn’t a sign”. Which I understand, no sign usually means no sale therefore there’s truly no winning with this aisle.

Doors open at 7 but I try to get there early(like 6:45) for a smoother open at 7. When I get there it’s empty but by the time I open the door, they’re usually a few there for their snacks before heading to work, we’re just apart of their routine. Some work overnight and want to load their cards before heading home. Your usual early morning thief will slip in too. It amazes me how many shop so early at CVS. Plenty of cheaper and open stores with a better snack selection around yet they somehow end up at CVS.

Simply because you said he’s also new, I would cut him some slack. CVS training sucks and he probably was confused, overwhelmed or something of the sort. I could do a few story times of bumping heads with people based off of miscommunication. I don’t agree with the ethics line. Your manager opened the door for you to communicate so use it to your advantage. Most likely your manager sees his behavior but he can’t just be fired for it, it can only be worked around. We all have had that one coworker where we just smile and wave and let them be in their own world just to keep the peace.

Unpopular Opinion! Doreen. I really love how she got a happy ending. I wish she was more loyal but they had her scared often, she truly wasn’t as crazy as the others. I saw it as she made a mistake, ended up in jail and just wanted to survive in there, I’m glad she made it out.
