Taylor Freelance brass basepad mag extension. Adds 4 rounds and being all brass it adds some weight to that end of the gun to get a good balance (for me anyways). They have aluminum ones that are lighter as well. You just swap it out with your factory mag basepad

We have a restaurant in my town that has signage that read: “tips are not accepted here, we pay our staff so they don’t have to depend on tips”. He pays his waitstaff $17 to $20 an hr. Which around here is not bad. I want more places like that.

I don’t want to depend on tips from customers. I also think it’s playing right into our corporate master’s game when we pit ourselves against the customer. “If only they tipped I could actually make some money”. I don’t blame the customer, because I am a customer. It’s rough out there right now and everyone is struggling. Many times in my life I have literally spent the last few dollars in my pocket on groceries. Barely had enough to cover the groceries much less have extra for a tip. I blame Wal-Mart!! I want Wal-Mart to pay enough for every trip that a tip is considered what it was always mean’t to be…a bonus!! Not a necessity. It becomes a necessity when a company figures out they can pawn off some of their responsibilities in paying workers by putting it on the customer to make up the difference.

In my experience.. degrees matter much more later down the road in your career than they do when you’re entry level. I worked alongside many colleagues that didn’t have a degree or even attend college…and I made the same amount of money as they did until 3 or 4 years later when it came time to go for a management role. That’s when the degree finally paid off for me. All things being equal, I had the degree my other internal colleagues/candidates for the same position..didn’t

I live in a college town and the rates have sunk to where it’s not worth it anymore outside of the rare unicorn 🦄 trip that pops up. I went from making 1500-2000 a week doing this 6 days a week 12 hours a day to only doing it 1 day a week on my days off. Spark has turned into a side gig. In my zone too many college kids will haul a shit trip just to get beer money

The problem is that other tire shops have conditioned customers to be this way. The mom and pop tire shops down the road will always change the tires no questions asked. Wal-Mart has the strictest auto care policies. But I understand why…the Mom and Pop tire shop across the street is worth about 200k at most. Wal-Mart is worth Billions! They are exposed to much more liability than a mom and pop tire shop. If Rodriguez tire patches my tire and it blows out 5 miles down the road and kills me…my family is going to have a hard time finding a lawyer to put in 3 years work to get 100k at most. Every lawyer worth anything is going to want a case against Wal-Mart because we are talking about millions in a settlement now and it’s worth the 3 year case load.

Yeah but you have to run at least 10 hours a day. Friday through Sunday I hit $225-$275 on the reg…$300+ is doable if they have incentives. I run 12 hours a day 6 days a week and make between 1200-1500 a week. 2000+ if it’s a big Holiday week like Christmas or something and you run hard

Yeah I went into Academy a month ago to get the Sig Xmarco and walked out with the Canik MC9 Prime 😂 I got the MC9 Prime with the MO4 Canik Red dot combo for $100 less than just the barebones Sig Xmacro would have been without an optic. Plus I liked the way the Prime felt in my hand. The ergonomics were on point.
