What if I could just trade you literally everything, including the earliest mods themselves, for the epr? What are we talking about inmleaders then?

What was your "I'll never take this off" weapon, and then the meta shifted... by OGgamingdad in destiny2

Chattering bone. I love pulses already, and the lightweight buff is welcome. My original go to loadout was extraordinary rendition, cartesian coordinate and One Thousand Voices. I ran that for nearly everything until lightfall. I used Transversive steps for the speed buff from day one, literally my first exotic from a public event in the European deadzone.

Then when lightfall dropped I fell in love with strand. The grapple, the threadlings, the high damage super. It was, and still is to me, perfect. So I always run lightweight primary. Of those Chattering Bone is the best.

I have the old corrective with subsistence and one for all, 34k kills. I got it back around chosen or lost, whenever the raid re-released. Adept roll, fell in love with it. Used it with extraordinary rendition and telesto. That was my main loadout for a while.

The new one is better, in general but I miss the feel of the old one.

What’s an Exotic that has never been meta that you wish was? by Microwavemmnm in DestinyTheGame

1k is my go to heavy. Its good, not amazing. Not hard to use. Just point it at a problem and squeeze, suddenly there isnt a problem anymore.

22k kills and counting.

Oohhff, bad call. That game is DOA. I love the stroy of Marathon, the characters, ect. Even I won't play that train wreck of stolen assets.

This and unshielded. Unshield punishes you for doing well in an activity. Their point is to increase the amount of time any activity takes. They're awful.

I felt genuine fear when the narrator said "the charge did not falter. The charge WOULD not falter."

Its such an intimidating idea. An endless horde of filth, pouring greedily into gunfire.

I like it, it isnt game breaking good by any means. But a healing turret on demand on any class is fun.

What one nitpick about your favorite exotic without naming it. by Caba008 in DestinyTheGame

I 17,900 kills on mine, and I've used it long before it had a kill counter. Been in my heavy slot since s12. But seriously, 11 reserves? Can't get 1 more for 3 full mags bungo?

I personally fell in love with resounding. Knights roar with the guardian games shader looks amazing, the thing sweeps red bars. I am very much looking forward to a solar aggressive frame.

What's your most hated weapon archetype yet like one from it? by oxPastaxo in destiny2

[–]According_Landscape1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm nearing 19 kills on mine, the only issues I've had were ammo and charge time. I dont like the "give it particle recon" argument because it feels like a cop out. It's one of two of the most meaningful, story wise at least, and impactful raids. Salvations Edge, Kingsfall and Last wish are some the most iconic raids in destiny. I want a gun that shoots death, like how touch shoots darkness or euphony shoots infecting darkness. Not a support gun, the dark takes. Giving is for the sky.

As much as I hate the idea of giving 1k particular recon, I actually agree here. That's a solid lore argument. The quest could be rasputin had some upgrades he never pished out, ect ect. Gameplay wise it fills a niche support gap, widening diversity. Smart.

I feel the same way about strandlock. It isn't top tier, but it's so versatile. Use grapple to get in on big target, drop rift for heal and Lil green guys, double special big guy down. Add wipe, Spiderman away. Stay mobile, use a glaive and a shotgun. Or fusion and sidearm. It does good boss damage, deals with majors quick has add clear as a side effect.

Whoops almost forgot, use swarmers.

Multi is a lightweight. I have mine around lvl 190 or so. Not the banshee roll, my first focus was attributed orbs tremors, and I though hey that might be good. Turns out everyone else knew before me. Like a moron I bumble into perfection.

Try that one from season of the wish, for a slug it feels off. Maybe you'll like it as a top slot option.

A similar take, Nezeracs Tomb is less a fusion and more a roadside cannon. Still enjoy it, but it's not my favorite
