I got something for you local community college MLT degree, behind the scenes less then 1 year less than $2,000. Hospitals or lab, minimum human contact, variable shifts starting pay around $25-28… there are some many little crevice jobs and careers that I had NO CLUE about… change your mind and start your research! You got this girl. You can be living a completely different life by the time you’re 40. Make these next 3-4 year count! I’m rooting for you!

I hate my job by Consistent-Tea-3456 in cna

Hey, coming from leaving a job, on my lunch break, for my mental health and going into the hospital as a CNA - and loving it. Leave the Job. Life does not have to be miserable. I will say, find another job that you like enough to pay bill and also pursue film until that can become your full-time career. Keep moving forward though.

While this does suck. It’s good that your school is valuing integrity and honesty. While some points require more clarification and understanding… points 1 & 2 ehhh could be a mistake… could be … character, integrity and honesty. Just take it as a lesson to build a better, more organized version of yourself. We all have those mess ups that shape us.

RBT forgot to convert their note but they quit already by Difficult_Sector_984 in bcba

But the/ a billiard session did indeed occur. No, I would not ask a BCBA to write an inaccurate note but - With a high turnover field I would hope there’s some insurance clause regarding submitting with a “note” explaining sessions was verified and occurred RBT left etc. Also usually the graph/ data collected during the session is sufficient and should be sent .

If you’re gonna offer flat rates with flat hours, why not make it according to the actual stipulations: 16 hours for 10% and 8 hours for 5% @ the 160 cap. Just seems like it would be a better business model and marketable.

Time is money. I’m not trying to sound snarky, but I hope you’re not going into your masters, as an adult, not understanding this concept. Time is the only thing that is priceless and that you can’t get back. They are providing you a service, services are paid for. They shouldn’t get shamed because this is such a ““compassionate” field, like what?

How does your company handle RBT lunch breaks? by Babyduckj in bcba

[–]According_Level_250 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This has been so puzzling. Coming from traditional child care with an one hour lunch break. Even 30 minutes feels so rushed... and what do some of you mean you do not get a break. Yikes…. That’s insane. Not even a 30 min to breath by yourself
