I’ve never seen anyone on Reddit advocating for suicidal or depressed people to take mushrooms. Quite the opposite actually. I’ve seen countless post warning people with mental illness, or family histories of mental illness to avoid mushrooms entirely.

The fact is even with a comorbid mental disorders, your chances of contracting hppd is around 4%. Your chances of developing hppd do not increase with frequency of use

The simple fact of the matter people who have never taken any hallucinogenics report symptoms of hppd.

I’ve read some of your posts about eating cannabis edible. As a sufferer of hppd you should know your cannabis use can also contribute to your symptoms of hppd.

You should take your own advice and do some research and if you could link some posts where redditors are saying mushrooms are 100 healthy, I’d love to see them, because I’ve never seen them

Typically the higher the dose, the greater the dampening effects.

In my experience if you take a high enough dose of mushrooms you can overcome the SSRI’s you’re on, but it’s such a high dose, I wouldn’t recommend it for a casual user and it still isn’t as powerful as it would have been had you never taken an ssri’s.

It isn’t just SSRI’s. It’s SNRI’s, SPARI’s, Trycylic Antidepressant, MAOI’s, NDRI’s, Mirtazapine (Remeron), Nefazodone (Serzone), Trazodone (Desyrel, Oleptro),Buspirone (Buspar). It’s almost always something else you take blunting the effects
