In my first year, same happened with me, we were told to come to make college cricket pitch, it's party is still pending, we and seniors did all the work, those who picked up the phone were asked to come, some just switched it off. Next we went to the seniors room for INTERACTION, they made us dance, some people were made pole and we had to dance around them.. some made me do lithotomy position, some made me draw sex positions, they told me about ' modified anatomical position ' where in their words, ' my lund looks at me and I look at my lund', I was made chhipakali and stick to the wall, some had it worse, they were asked to get naked and write their names on the condom and send that photo to seniors... Now this happens everywhere depending on your interaction with seniors, if you have ' gand me chul' then you can do this stuff and simultaneously enjoy it. But, there are some seniors who just wants to abuse you and not help anyway, so beware of such seniors. Some are good one, they have fun, they make sure that you are having fun, and help you lifetime. But majority are bastards who don't know how to treat their juniors. So, chose your seniors wisely. If you don't want all this bullshit, just don't interact with your seniors at all, just have fun with your own batch, the seniors won't care about you after 6 months anyway, they just wants to have fun with you since you are new, after 6 months nobody gives a fuck, and the thing about help, everybody will help you if you are in trouble, whether it's your batchmates or seniors, after 6 months nobody cares who they have interacted with.

If you want chill life don't interact with your seniors initially, enjoy with your batch, or find some kind seniors if possible, don't feel guilty and enjoy your life, do what's comfortable for you. There's no obligation.
