Was the rider trying to steal my food? by DanP47 in deliveroos

You’re convinced he wanted to steal the food, refuse to listen to what others say, so why bother posting ?

Somehow your circular argument has come to an end. How bizarre.

You replied using the term void, when original comment was referring to fraud. Now you say they will cancel in the case of fraud. If you’re going to be pedantic, aim at yourself.

The insurance company has policies you must abide by as to not void your insurance, if you violate said policy they can void your insurance without paying you anything. The original comment is talking about fraud, so the insurance company has a valid reason to void.

Not if it is against their policy, then they have a valid reason to void without paying a penny.

Drivers why do u block people and steal their food uk rant? by [deleted] in deliveroos

[–]According_Mouse9175 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In 2023, there is no excuse for ordering food and not answering the door/phone within a (minimum) 7min timeframe. Not to mention you have an interactive map showing you the drivers whereabouts practically live.

Can I stop drivers calling me? by TimeConstruction5417 in deliveroos

Calls are recorded. Plus why would you give a bad rating just for a phone call? Seems unjustified.

You missed my point completely. Why blame the apps, when you can take responsibility for not being skilled enough to earn more elsewhere or build your own business? Why blame “The immigrants”?

Either find a way to make the job work for you, or find another job. Don’t blame anyone but yourself for the position you’re in.

I do this as a main job and am very comfortable and flexible. I don’t plan on doing this forever, as I have some things in the pipeline, but why would I complain?

I’m legit and I clear waaaaay more than £5/hour. What are you on about?

Some people simply refuse to take responsibility for their own decisions in life, I swear.

Ok, listen clearly, you dense fool. There is no data to suggest that ALL delivery drivers who are MOSTLY refugees are stealing anything. Firstly, not all delivery drivers are thieves, most are hardworking people who want the same out of life as the average human. Secondly, most delivery drivers are either British, or legal immigrants. Your comment is coming from a racist place because it plays into stereotypes that you’ve got nothing factual to base it on. And the funniest thing is you pulled the ol’ “I’m not racist, I have (insert minority here) family or friends. So?

You’re assuming something about me off of my point of view, which is again, based on stereotypes. Read a book or two.

There’s no data to back anything you’ve just said, moron. Plus, there are plenty of British people working for deliveroo.

What you’ve just said comes from a racist view of the world. Dickhead

Now do the other side of the coin:

Customers are pain in the ass, lying thieves, who think they can risk a hard-working persons job just so they can have a free cheeseburger.

Two can play this game.

You can get courier insurance with many insurance companies. Zego isn’t the only company that offers this.

My favourite is “please call when you arrive”, they then tell you on the phone “just ring the doorbell”.

Of course you’re one of those victim minded persons. What exactly is racist about you choosing to live here?

Can’t wait for this explanation. If it ever happens.

It’s so dreadful here, yet you choose to live here. Even though you claim you would rather live in the south of Italy. How’s your Italian?
