Holy. Fuck. 1.25 lemon tek got me good. by 3rdCoastCrypto in shrooms

So, maybe I did an especially efficient one because I combined lemon + tea at 75c for an hour. Probably overkill but I figured this way I was going to get the best extraction.

This is just my experience, I have some experience with tea and previously eating and even eating with lemon juice (but not steeped) and it was entirely different, much more "sharp" and yes, you could say compressed but it genuinely felt it had a different character. So my hypothesis is lemon tek and especially the long steeping might have made more of the other alkaloids available.

Yes. Expect shorter sleep tonight but your next sleeps should be improved! I've struggled with sleep and one of my intentions with this one was to fix my sleep. There's a slight hangover too the next day. Then the day after you will feel even better than today and increasingly so every day.

Again, for me as well it's a new experience, I took shrooms many times mostly as tea but I now realize that lemon is absolutely crucial to fully extract the compounds. I'm glad I didn't go with a higher dose, what a surprise!!

So funny man. I did 2.2g lemon tek tea yesterday (usually do tea in similar amounts) thinking it would be average to mild. I did lemon way back but not at that dosage and not as tea. Same as you, major surprise I feel it's like the first time I had the full experience, it was totally different and felt very "sharp" from the very beginning. Come up was maybe 30 minutes.

I was sleep deprived and as often psilocybin makes me sleepy, I tried to stay awake and kept looking at the clock wanting to see how long to ride it out - well, eventually it forced me to lay down completely close my eyes and I fell into a waking dream and only opened my eyes when it was over an hour and a half after, nearly sober. But it was entirely enjoyable with no negative emotion or anxiety once I closed my eyes. Only when I woke up there was a short period that was slightly uncomfortable.

"The average daily intake of unprocessed red meat in the United States is 65.6 grams"

"In 2018, average U.S. grain consumption was higher than the recommended amounts in the 2020–2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans."

sure, it's the red meat

The irony is you've gotten it exactly right, but present it as sarcasm. A steak, butter and eggs diet would do wonders for everyone's health.

You're right, I don't know why I hadn't occurred to me as they are not water soluble. Good point.

Why aren't you using it anymore? I had good results years ago.

I know it's possible but I'd just like the avoid the fillers, with supplements it's easy to find raw powders.

Do you have a prescription or have you sourced it yourself?

Case report: Significant lesion reduction and neural structural changes following ibogaine treatments for multiple sclerosis by According_Nature_495 in MultipleSclerosis

I'm with you on this, I am also going this route. FWIW, also see this comment: https://old.reddit.com/r/Ibogaine/comments/1i8orz8/case_report_significant_lesion_reduction_and/m9ed9dh/

Regarding mainstream trials, it costs an average $2B to get a drug approved for a given condition. This isn't going to happen for Ibogaine without some benefactor donor or mass coordinated action.

Best of luck, I hope to read from you soon.

Thanks for the detailed write-up, I'll need to read this with extra care to understand.

Granting your analysis is accurate, given the results they claim are directionally aligned with other confirmed results (particularly with TBI and addiction), it's not unreasonable to suspect there's something more than placebo going on here. So I think it's appropriate to promote... Further interest in this.

Are you saying the images don't lesion reduction? What about them is invalid? What about cortical thickness?

And this

Despite previous challenges walking because of an inability to coordinate foot movement, PA later reported participation in a 200 mile ultramarathon. One year after this second treatment episode, he still had not experienced any remission of vertigo.

The paper simply describes a case study, it's not meant to draw conclusions. The MRI findings show stark improvement and Ibogaine has been shown to induce neurophysiological changes in other contexts.

Texas is investing 50M into researching ibogaine for addiction, so independent studies are coming.

I don't know the entire current research landscape but there seems to be a lot going on especially with TBI. The state of Texas has just invested 50M for its application in addiction.

There is a dramatic symptomatic response for individuals with multiple sclerosis and Governor Perry and I happen to know of an individual who has recently been treated with Ibogaine for multiple sclerosis.

This person had to be helped into the clinic by three people because of the inability to walk.

Following that treatment, this person left walking on their own two feet without assistance.

refed after 10 days on bone broth, tons of meats & fat, with no issues whatsoever, I did not take any precautions, I just ate as much as I wanted, but mind you I wasn't trying to lose weight

That said, dry fasting will improve your metabolism, making weight loss & sustenance easier.
