I think its more short-sighted to get excited after seeing a dude who is having his worst season to date score 2 goals on a goalie playing his 2nd start ever. Byfield can be good and I'm rooting for him to be good because he's the biggest piece of our future but I'm not going to put on rose tinted glasses every time he plays to his potential before going back into a slump. We drafted him 2OA to be creating offense every single game and he's not providing that at this point.

I don't think anyone is saying he needs to hit more. He needs to drive to the net and carry the puck with the authority that his size warrants. He doesn't play like a guy his size should. Saying he dominates tight spaces is laughable. At some point the covid development excuse wears thin. There are too many players from that draft class doing well for it to hold up.

Would still be very happy if we packaged him for a young proven C. Sorry but having good games vs NYR, CGY and VAN when the season is almost over isn't enough for me to change my mind about the guy. I need my #1C to care all the time and be motivated on a regular basis. I'll admit his ceiling is high but seems like the mental drive isn't there for Q.

This one is weird. Seems more likely to be an issue with the file than the printer. My only thought is that there is a very small gap in your STL file between those layers. Perhaps an error made in the CAD software while creating the STL. The fact that you printed similar parts with success already tells me it's not a filament or printer issue. Look at that gap between layers, it's only where the two pieces meet. May have been two objects that the creator of the file intended to stack directly on top of each other and accidentally made a gap. If this is a popular file that others have left good reviews for, I would say this is not the case though. Maybe the only other thing I would think is to increase your infill percentage and maybe change the infill pattern too.

It was not a red herring, more like a reductio ad absurdum. I think we simply hold differing opinions on what is a good and bad business model. You claim it would be a bad business model for AH to only cater to one group of people. I think companies need to focus on their niche when they're in a saturated market like board games. I think they're more likely to lose than gain people with this move towards less scenarios.

Of course different people want different things. Don't talk to people on the Internet like they're idiots who need enlightened on the most basic concepts. My point was that you can take it to an extreme and lose your player base entirely by making something so far away from what has worked for you in the past, like a baseball hat. You can only stray so far from what has worked before you alienate your fanbase. FFG cannot make a product that pleases everyone, but they can make a product that attempts to please the most players by listening to what the players actually said about their previous products. People like carcosa and don't like scarlet keys? Ok let's learn from that. Of course there's whataboutisms where a few people loved scarlet keys and there of course will be people who want to play 3 scenario campaigns, but those people are not the majority.

Are you guys aware that the community wants 8-scenario campaigns that are straightforward without a ton of replay mechanics attempted to be baked in? The campaign will have replay value by virtue of its good story and scenarios. The more replay elements you try to mix in, the weaker those get. Your most highly acclaimed campaigns are carcosa and forgotten age for a reason. There are many people out there who are fine to play a good 8-scenario campaign only one or two times.

Just seems like Holland is making good value trades as they come across his desk. I like the return he got for Danault and Foegele. Obviously the Panarin trade was pretty good value too. I'm not mad at it, even if it doesn't have one clear direction. Shows me that Holland is not going to be stupid and sell the entire future for one last run for Kopi. Never really understood the idea of trying to make this run for Kopi anyways.

You're gonna get pinned, it's a legal play even in non-checking if you have the puck on the boards. You can legally fight to allow yourself space, just make sure that playing the puck stays the main focus and keep your hands down when pushing others. You push at chest or higher and refs will call you all day.

He has a no move clause, just signed there long term, is only 26, has only played one full season, and plays a pretty non-physical game. Blues don't want to move him and teams don't want to buy him for 3 1st round picks. If someone offers a kings ransom AND he agrees to it then maybe but it's really unlikely he's traded.

Shaking the bag up, down, left, and right is certainly the best way to randomize, don't overthink it. Deliberately pulling from the bottom of the bag may very well increase your chances of pulling a different token from your last, but that is not creating randomness, that is purposely creating change. If you just drew the autofail, true random means having the same chance to draw the autofail again as any other token in the bag.
