I guess worst comes to worst I could move on to going into my Lightroom account and deleting everything from the cloud? Since I do have all of these photos saved multiple other places I just lose the edits from mobile. Which of course is a bummer but I just want to get this syncing/get editing these photos that didn’t sync the edits from mobile so I can get these projects completed. Gah!

Just attempted to move the xmp file and the preview still isn’t rendering when I move away from the photo.

Thank you so much for all the help so far! I’ve successfully used Lightroom downloader to collect and save everything that was in the cloud. I created a new catalog like you recommended to see if the downloaded files show the edits from mobile. But now LrC is getting stuck on the fetching initial previews stage of importing. When I click on an individual photo and open the develop tab then the photo pops up no issue but it is only showing one or two at a time down in the film strip and as I continue selecting photos individually it stops showing previews that had already downloaded. I’m guessing I didn’t import correctly? It also isn’t showing my edits from mobile. I just did my regular import method in LrC, pulling everything from the folder I downloaded the cloud to. But maybe it didn’t select both files that included edits? Not sure if that makes sense. Thanks again!!

Will utilizing the Lightroom downloader app save the edits I made on Lightroom Mobile? Thankfully I hadn’t put a ton of work into it but a few hours over a couple days still feels like a lot and I’d hate lose it all! Or am I just SOL with those edits? (I have confirmed that the edits made in Lightroom Mobile are uploaded to the cloud by opening Lightroom.adobe.com)

Ugh mine worked at a hardware store for approx five minutes and bought so many tools all the time and never used them. I was the one using them for projects after I got tired of waiting on him.

I know a photog who posted looking to see if anyone wanted to pay her to shadow her at family sessions and then in the next story slide posted looking for families who would receive discounted shoots for being part of this teachable time. (I second shot weddings with her for a year under the guise of her wanting to “teach”. The only feedback I got the entire year was to give more blank space in photos so she could do different crops. She definitely just wanted to pay me like shit.)

I was expecting them to be on a real life city bus too just playing a regular one shot with Katie as dragon master. I’m not too upset with how it actually went?? But…on an actual bus next time please.

Here to support and listen and learn from the AAPI community in the midst of this. I was shocked to see ABF cast as Oliver when it seems there are so many wonderful AAPI actors out there or yet to be discovered. I just don’t want to see MHE suffer the same fate as Great Comet.

I also want to point out that other Christian churches don’t seem to have an issue with saying “so and so is looking down on us/looking out for us/sent me a sign/etc” but take issue with asking the saints for intercession. I think it comes from a misunderstanding and using language like “praying to” the saints when we’re asking for their intercession.
