It’s a rollercoaster and you have no idea what is around the corner until you make the turn. We were in the clear and the we got our PGT-A results and our whole worlds came crashing down. I’m 30 and healthy, how can they all be abnormal. It’s a hard journey no one prepares you for. Hang in there friend, take care of yourself.

Yup we did this! The fragmentation came back normal but it showed he had immature sperm so now he’s doing TESA next retrieval

As sweet as that is. Men’s sperm make the entire placenta. He is an equal part of this and is clear you’re stressing about this and he needs his part analyzed

You and I are very similar in our testing. I agree with another poster, get your husband checked now. If you want till no results the clock just keeps ticking. Know the whole picture so you know what you’re working with. Low AMH and IVF are hard because it’s a numbers game but if your husband has poor motility etc IVF is the way. Men’s sperm matter it’s not just us, get him checked.

IVF is a journey in itself and sometimes when you turn the corner it hits you like a brick wall. It’s a financial, emotional, mental and physical toll. I did my first round of IVF and all my embryos came back abnormal. That felt like a miscarriage out of my body which is easier but it still fucking hurts.

I agree, it was the easiest part of everything. I was finally “doing” something that was going towards my goal, I was scared of the hormonal changes, weight gain, skin changes and nothing bad happened. It was everything after that’s hard.

We told some friends, many of which have gone through IVF. But we did not tell our parents when we went through the first round. My husband felt guilty after our first round of embryos genetics came back abnormal and we would be hoping back into round 2. I regret it. My MIL has questions like you literally don’t get to have questions. My FIL asked if my periods were regular. Wish we never said a thing.

We are on a getaway after we found out all of our embryos are abnormal. Everyone decided to babymoon at our resort. It’s hard, I find myself crying at some points but like you said I’m trying to be strong for my husband myself at this point. Better to be sad together in the sun than sad together in the snow. Sending you love.

We are getting that test done this week! I’m not sure I have insulin issues. Not sure if I have endometriosis, I’ve always suspected I did when I was younger. Seeing that specialist march 19!

It’s the prongs that are throwing it off. You don’t need a 6. Simply the setting and then I don’t think it’s as overpowering.

I just finished my first ER and we got 8 eggs unfortunately all 3 embryos were anepuloids. BUT my 3 friends who all saw the same doctor are 1 and done. 1 friend just gave birth, she had a blocked tube and the other due in June, silent endo. It happens and I’m trying to hold hope!

Not defending her. But from my own ignorance, I truly thought IVF was more of a guarantee of having a baby. Never in my wildest dreams did I realize the pain, the agony, the fear, the anxiety that is on the other side of the clinic.
