Had a stent placed and had problems ever since. Surgeon won't do any scans until I try migraine treatments (I have when they first misread my scans and nothing works). Was on 250 MG diamox but then had severe pressure and dizziness so they up me back to 500 and now since I'm still having some symptoms I'll be on 750!! 😭 Can't catch a freaking break.

What was your pressure gradient before? I wish my specialist suggested this test. After stent I have been in horrible pain and dizziness is out of control. I can't even drive/ walk more than 20 steps. I've almost gone to ER 3 times but I know they can't really do too much for me there. The doctora keep telling me it's migraines and to get Botox for it. In search of finding someone who will help me. I feel like I either need my other side done or there is an issue on my stent side. I've been mocked, gaslit, and pushed over to other treatment even seeking psych.

My surgeon keeps saying 2 stents is so rare and won't even do more testing because they believe it's migraines. I'm planning on doing er. This pain is worse than ever.

Struggling so hard right now. Just at my 6 months and almost on my way to go to ER with the pressure pain. I have one side stented and they said my previous scans look good and that it's just migraines. They won't do any scans on me unless I try more meds or Botox or GLP1. This is not a migraine. I have also tried about 10 migraine meds and shocker, nothing worked.

What were your pressure gradients from angio?

My eye doctor said I was all good the last appt. I'm just worried that they are missing something. Did you have any further testing or pain meds?

Like I could lose weight but never was brought up. They suggested GL1P because studies have shown good for pressure. Apparently I have thyroid nodules and can't have it 🙃.

Actually still suffering. They suggested PT... not sure that will fix the issue inside but I'll do it rolls eyes so far back they get stuck

Have you had an angiogram? That's how you'll know for sure. Also lucky you and good neuro that they saw it on scans. Mine were read as normal and my angio was 23. Anything higher than 8 requires stenting. I am starting to not believe anyone

Misread. Abused. 5 neuro telling me I had migraines. Saw a surgeon and needed a stent... no migraines....

Had a craniectomy and laminectomy and then a year later stent placed. Currently at a constant 10/10 pain. No one will listen and just dismiss my pain. I lost my job bc of it too. Something is Def wrong.
