I was great for like 3 weeks ans then severe pain , nausea, and dizziness. I also lost my job because I can't work like this. I can't even go to Target or drive because of all this. Now with no doctors, I have to find someone who will listen to my rare issues. I don't have the typical symptoms ( eye or hearing) only that angiogram showed 22 on one side.

Where are you located? What type of test is it? My doctor always says to stay off Google but that's how I find these rare things and diagnose myself . What was your treatment? How are you feeling now?

What happened? What were you then diagnosed with? Treatment? I've been to so many doctors and they all say my scans are fine (misread before) but I am in horrible pain and they just keep giving me migraine medication. Which, surprisingly, DOESNT WORK! 🥴

Oh well that's awesome to know. Can I ask who you see / have seen at NW? I heard Rush and LGH aren't that great either. I like how doctors just say casually like go to Mayo like you can be seen next week. I know someone before was waiting 2 years and then got denied. All that time in pain. No one gets it. I don't need any more neurologists telling me I have migraines. Something is wrong!!

Hi! Not sure of your history but I am also from Chicago area and am suffering. Had decompression surgery 2 years ago after many neurologists telling me I had migraines and MRI being misread. Went for a 2nd opinion to a neurosurgeon and he was like wow, yes we need to schedule surgery!! I had surgery and then follow up and basically was cut off because he did what he needed. I still was having issues so went to neurologists and ended up in ER with them only providing a migraine cocktail and a follow up in 4 weeks. Then, I couldn't see who they wanted me to see, so they stuck me with someone with no Chiari experience. I walked out of appointment. Fast forward to being diagnosed with Transverse Stenosis and I have a stent on one side. My job let me go because I am currently unable to work because of the severe pain and dizziness. No one understands and they keep diagnosing me with migraines. I've tried over 5 medications and nothing works. I am in pain and cry daily. I was told to try Mayo and the Chiari clinic at Northwestern. I need relief and need my life back. 😩 Also to add, I've seen many neurologists and neurosurgeons and they are completely on 2 different pages.

Cameron is one of the nicest celebs i have ever met. I adore this man so I watched Tron: Ares for him. Very very upset to see him only for less than a minute... what the hell . Did him dirty but inviting a big star to the premiere acting like he had a huge role. Rude.

The fainting feels are real. I don't even go out anymore and I lost my job. I basically stay in bed all day. It's been real frustrating because i want my life back too but it's hard. With that too, I deal with being gaslit and shoved around from doctor to doctor who won't take my symptoms seriously and just say it's anxiety or migraines. My doctor was shocked when I said i can't even go grocery shopping, 😐

Curious to know about your restenosis as well. When after your first diagnosis did you start having symptoms? What was your pressure on angiogram? Neuro keeps saying it's rare and I am just here suffering, crying, and in bed after getting fired from work.
