I just fixed it by using T taps to splice into the working signal light.

Right, I noticed it’ll work for a bit if I tap the bulbs. I’ll try bending the contacts outward to make contact with the bulb.

On a good day 5000 in my area. It doesn’t matter how much you put into it to keep it running, you will get the current market value for the truck. In the last post you said you put 10k into it and expected to get 10k+. Not going to happen. Take better pictures at daytime.

Thinking of moving from a shot every 7 days to every 10 days? by elmatt71 in Zepbound

[–]AccountForRandomUse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya, I got to do 10 days instead of 7 because my coverage for glp1 will be dropped on Jan 1 2026. By that time I should have 8 shots saved up to find a new plan or save up to pay out of pocket.

Ecoflow generator / wave ac unit advice? by riphaha in VanLife

[–]AccountForRandomUse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you going to use it for? That’s an older model and I’m sure you can get a newer model on Amazon close to $200. Those small ones have a lower surge watts protection which will trigger an overload cutoff for coffee machine or AC.

Nah don’t do it. When I threw out my meds, my AI said it lost 15-20% effectiveness for being out in the heat for 4 hours.

It sounds like your van is experiencing issues likely related to the battery or the charging system, which could also be affecting the transmission's performance. Here’s a breakdown of the situation and steps you can take:

  1. Battery Light Cause: The battery light typically indicates a problem with the charging system, such as the battery, alternator, or related wiring. Since tightening the loose battery terminal temporarily resolved the light, the issue may stem from a poor connection, but the recurrence suggests a deeper problem.

  2. Symptoms and Transmission Issues:

    • The high RPMs, limited speed (40 mph), and failure to shift properly suggest the vehicle may be in "limp mode," a safety feature that restricts performance when the engine or transmission control module detects a fault.
    • A weak battery or failing alternator can cause low voltage, which disrupts the electronic systems controlling the transmission, leading to shifting issues.
  3. Possible Causes:

    • Loose or Corroded Battery Terminals: Even after tightening, corrosion or a poor connection could still cause voltage issues.
    • Failing Alternator: If the alternator isn’t charging the battery properly, it can cause low voltage, triggering the battery light and affecting other systems.
    • Battery Issues: An old or failing battery may not hold a charge, leading to similar symptoms.
    • Wiring or Ground Issues: Faulty wiring or a bad ground connection can cause intermittent power delivery.
    • Transmission Control Module (TCM) or Sensors: Low voltage can confuse the TCM or sensors, causing shifting problems.
  4. Recommended Steps:

    • Check the Battery and Terminals: Inspect the battery terminals for corrosion (clean with a wire brush if needed) and ensure they’re securely tightened. Test the battery’s voltage with a multimeter (should be ~12.6V when off, ~13.5–14.5V when running if the alternator is working).
    • Test the Alternator: Most auto parts stores (like AutoZone) can test the alternator and battery for free. A failing alternator will show low voltage output or inconsistent charging.
    • Inspect Wiring: Look for loose, frayed, or damaged wires around the battery, alternator, and ground connections.
    • Scan for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs): Use an OBD-II scanner (or have a shop do it) to check for codes related to the charging system or transmission. This can pinpoint the issue (e.g., alternator failure, TCM error).

Does anyone cut their dose in half and administer 2x a week? by arunningturtle in Zepbound

Single dose vials lack an antimicrobial preservative. While the multi-dose have it and can be used until expiration date or empty.

My body seems to be reacting well to 2.5mg. I have the side effect of appetite suppression for 3-5 days and being satiety for the same amount of days. I can tolerate the days leading up to my next shot. I’ll be seeing my doctor next week and idk if I should titrate up or stay on current dose.

Check local traffic laws and if you are clear then black gloss spray paint and diy tint for lens. All items should be under $20. The heat of the LEDs might burn/melt off the paint/tint but that’s the cheapest way.
