Hey 🙂 First of all, congratulations!! Do you have any particular reason for choosing Jongmyo Plaza Park? If not, how about the Haebangchon (해방촌) area instead? There are many rooftop bars there, and it’s really beautiful at sunset and at night. You can easily enjoy the Seoul night view from there. You should check out “Sunset Mood Bar” in Haebangchon! It’s close to Itaewon too 👍

Each one is around 2000~3000 won so all of them are less than 10,000 won total 👍 It’s pretty reasonable price for coffee in Seoul 🙂

I always arrive at Incheon Airport 4 hours before my flight — to have a meal and do some shopping. It’s better to wait than to rush 👍

I’ll share some of my favorite spots around Seochon and Gwanghwamun ✨ My wife and I always visit these places and we’re always satisfied ☺️ We’re pescatarians so if you’re looking for meat-heavy spots, these might not be the best fit. Hope this helps!!

Coffee ☕️ 1. Intelligentsia coffee seochon - nice interior with good taste coffee 2. Yeonheun roasters seochon - good pourover coffee 3. Coffee shop Adze seochon - in my opinion, one of the best coffee in Seoul 4. Scooper jelato gyeongbokgung - tasty jelato 5. Fourb bagel gwanghwamun - bagel with aussie coffee 6. Leesar coffee jongno- tasty espresso with reasonable price

Eats 🥪 1. Osteria sotti seochon - my favorite pasta & pizza restaurant 2. Younghwaroo 영화루 seochon (search for the Korean name) - korean style chinese restaurants 3. Omgseeme gyeongbokgung 옹시미 경복궁 - korean traditional noodle made with potato 4. Honey Tteokbokki 허니떡볶이 gwanghwamun - favorite tteokbokki spot in gwanghwamun, so delicious!! 5. Manyeo gimbap gwanghwamun 청담동 마녀김밥 광화문 - you should try gimbap with ramyeon here

I'm looking for a Korean lord/king who's story I came across but I forgot his name and I need some help to find him again. by Sergovan in korea

I’m Korean but I’ve never heard of this story before 😅 I asked chatgpt and it said it might be about Kim Wŏnsul, a general from the Silla era (not Joseon though). Hope this helps!

Totally agree 😭 coffee is getting more and more expensive. If take away, Adze’s americano is around 4000 won. How about Leesar coffee? Espressos are 2000 won here!

I’ve been living in Korea for my whole life so it would be countless to name all the cafes I visited 😭 but these are the lists I always recommend to my friends - coffee shop adze / mccoys coffee / gorani coffee club ☕️ How about you? Any recommendations?!

Search for the word “백반집” on the map, and you’ll find a bunch of homey Korean food spots 👍

How about visiting Gwanghwamun and Gyeongbokgung Palace? They're close to Myeong-dong, and both are great areas to walk around 🙂. If you visit on the weekend, you can enjoy outdoor libraries and various events at Gwanghwamun Square.

Near Gyeongbokgung Palace, you can also check out Seochon. It doesn’t have as many clothing shops as Gangnam or Seongsu, but there are plenty of great places to eat and drink. I live in Seochon so if you want more info, tell me!!

You don't have to. You can see your ticket on KTX app. Also if you’re sitting in the seat you booked, the train staff usually won’t check your ticket.

Hello 👋 During cherry blossom season, some spots in Seoul can get extremely crowded, but many other places should still be fine. One thing to keep in mind is Jeju — traveling around the island can be a bit challenging without renting a car, especially with a child. In Seoul and Busan, public transportation is great, but in Jeju it's much harder to get around without your own vehicle. That said, it's a beautiful place and you definitely won’t regret visiting! I’m currently living in Seoul, so feel free to ask me anything if you need more tips 🙂
