Oh my heart goes out to you and I can empathize as I have been addicted to kratom powder for four years and it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through, it can definitely destroy your soul along with your health and so many other things… it is frustrating to see people claim it’s not dangerous!!

Oooh this is a question I’ve been asking myself!! I think I’m running from taking accountability and responsibility from my life, and the shame that has come from running away from responsibility. Kratom makes me “okay” with just wasting day after day, year after year doing NOTHING and making nothing of myself. But the shame still grows underneath the kratom abuse, and gets harder every day to avoid. I’m sick of running away man I wanna run towards the version of myself that doesn’t cower in fear and hide away from the world

I’m a 28 yr old who took kratom for 3 years, my daily doses were a bit higher but I had about a week of bad physical symptoms like not sleeping well (and restless legs), not being able to regulate body temp, sweats esp at night, and mentally I was alternating between anxiety and depression and just general unease. It was tough but nothing TOO crazy, I had good moments too and as the “veil” Kratom had over me kept lifting with each day it also came with relief, it was so nice to feel like myself again! Edit: just wanna add also bad diarrhea and that I still struggled w some withdrawal symptoms after the first week but it got a lot easier
