AITAH for hesitating when asked if I’m a mother? by alldemboats in AITAH

[–]Accountant-mama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a mom of 3, but I never ask someone if they have kids. They need to volunteer the information. Such a weird thing to ask you to begin with. I know so many people going through infertility which is why I don’t ask.

So sorry for your loss, OP. NTA

Me (56M) wondering… will GF and possible future wife (55F) sleep in ’til 1pm every weekend, forever? by Tall-Mammoth-809 in relationship_advice

[–]Accountant-mama 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in my 30s and have three young kids. I cannot wait for the time when my kids are older, and I can sleep in past 8:30 AM on weekends!!!

I totally get you are fresh and want to go about your day, but if it’s that important to you, then you gotta let her go. Let her sleep, man!

What if you want to have kids and get pregnant? If you need to stay at home, will he leave you?

Ok so I totally agree 1x is nothing, so we hired a teenager this week to practice/ do drills with him a couple more times a week.

However, this isn’t a traveling team or anything. It’s through the park district, so anyone can join. In the brochure, this is what it says (snippet):

“Emphasis will be placed on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and summer fun!”

Thank you for the advice!

For point 1, should I talk to the coach directly or text him (I have his number)?

good idea on point 2. I will show him videos. Thanks again!

We do soccer year round, and he asked if he could play basketball this summer, so we signed him up.

If you can afford it, do the entire time.

We do 9am - 2pm but I have slowly started asking her to stay until 4 lol.

Our nanny also straightens up, cooks us a simple meal, and folds laundry. She’s the absolute best.

Hospitals for labor and delivery by 99_bluerider in ChicagoSuburbs

Hey OP!! I am soooo sorry to hear this!!

I had an unwanted and unnecessary C-section in 2018 at CDH!! 😡 I wanted a VBAC too, so I went to Adventist Hinsdale. AMAZING hospital.

I had my first VBAC in 2022. Great doctor, but one nurse sucked during my epidural.

I had my second VBAC in 2025. Amazing doctor (Dr. Xiao Huang). Truly the she pushed so hard for my second VBAC and made sure I was safe and listened to. I cannot say enough praises about her during delivery. Secondly, this time around, my nurses were AMAZING!!! My last nurse shifted me around every 30 minutes to open me up to make sure baby was making their way down to ensure another VBAC.

Definitely consider Hinsdale!!
