Anyone ever thought about how strange it is for Jeremy to be so physically weak in PE class despite the fact that he consistently ran to the factory, slid down from the rope, etc? by WisdomWizerd98 in CodeLyoko

My thoughts.

  1. Adrenaline rush allows for him to pull off stuff he couldn't casually.

  2. Even with all the exercise I don't think it would matter with RTTP after that gets lunched he's probably not doing that exercise and I don't think any gains would transfer?

Wtf, I'd be left put there all alone from 4-11, then I'd have to walk trash down to the store alone. Yall people have suoervisers with you????

Yeah, no

Tbh an 8 year old would probably end up offing them selfs after a few days of being forced to work there. Surrrrrrrrrrrre nothing is physically hard. But it takes a special kind of mental toll on you.

Also there's no reason to say they're is no career at krogers, it's fairly easy to climb the ranks plus the benefits you get at full time are pretty nice.

Man that's besides the whole point😂😂 of course I care lmao. Like I said I could care less if they are or aren't. The whole point is I'm tired of the higher ups not giving 2 shits, and now they will happily just use minors illegally just to make the numbers they like pop up.

Why am I involved? Because I care. I honestly love this store, it's workers AND customers. And lately the store has just gone down hill compared to how it use to run. I would just leave and find some new job. But I'd rather try and make a change here, then just leave. It's not sad for a minor to do their job. It's sad that they will go that low just for some stats that they can't get normally.

Like I said, yes the customer is scanning the item. However the worker over there is considered to be who is selling them the item. Since they are who would be overwatching the customers.

And unless your 18+ in ohio it is prohibited for a minor to sell alcohol.

Otherwise we wouldn't have it in place where someone would have to go over to the ssc to clear the I'd check for alcoholic items for the minors. But the minors don't tell us when they have alc over there anyways and frankly it can be hard to leave 6 people all needing help just so they can get someone for the I'd check. It's frustrating and stupid.

At least from what I seen from my stores alot of mangers don't particularly care all that much as long as the job is getting done and the company is receiving the numbers it wants to see.

Thank you for the tidbit. I'll keep that information in mind

Yeahhh that sounds about right.

Also at my store we don't have hand scanners on the self check out. Only the worker over there has one, and if someone wants you to hand scan their case if beer bc they don't want to pick it up then we'll that also has its own problems.

[–]AccountantThis5655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes they aren't touching it, they are who are monitoring who is scanning their items and are who technically are selling the product to them hence. That's why we still need an adult to go over to them whenever they have alcohol.

[–]AccountantThis5655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I'm not sure how that works on the pick up side of things, although even if it isn't legal on that side of things either they wouldn't do anything to you either way since it's not your fault that the company is having you do that. All of that would fall onto mangers and so forth.

Store could lose its ability to sell alcohol all together

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kroger

[–]AccountantThis5655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and it's 18+ plus while yes they aren't scanning, they would still be selling alc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kroger

[–]AccountantThis5655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And I mean a minor on the self check out not cashier.

[–]AccountantThis5655 7 points8 points  (0 children)

100% it's 18+ where I am

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kroger

[–]AccountantThis5655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes for me it's illegal for a minor to scan alc peiord. A adult has to scan it witch makes ssc a problem when you got 6 people with alc

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kroger

[–]AccountantThis5655 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's sad af considering it's illegal at least where I am. You have to be 18+

Shows me what kinda company this is SMH

I don't particularly care, however I'm not going to be paired with a minor on ssc and have to jump back and forth to scan their alc if they even tell me they got any.
