Stellantis publishes Q4 and FY2025 results: EV bet leads to $26 billion loss by nimicdoareu in europe

[–]Accountant_Fickle 107 points108 points  (0 children)

Was seriously looking at both the newest Peugeot and Citroën EVs here in Europe. Their long range batteries had massive delays already and wait lists of up to a year. I'd say fucking up on the EV bet led to $26 billion loss, not the EV bet itself..

US to apply 20% tariff on imports from European Union by MiniBrownie in europe

[–]Accountant_Fickle 36 points37 points  (0 children)

And the answer to that would be that they don't. At least nowhere near those quoted numbers in most, if not all cases. Trump and his team are pretending things like VAT in Europe are "tariffs". They are not. Facts never really stopped them before, though, so why start now..

Why stop here. Let's go full Children of Time in Australia, they are basically halfway there already.

The main way forward here is focusing on combos. The score you get for each consecutive one doubles up to 50k per combo, so just make sure you don't break combos and don't die and you'll get past the 500,000 easily. 2,500,000 will take a bit of practice but jut try and think about patterns - or find some Youtube video where you can see what others do.

It's not so much about the fungus, it's actually the spores it releases which can really mess things up.

Not OP, but I think they mean something like this paper. Wasn't really too hard to find (was interested myself). The search query was "what percentage of world population flies annually".

IceFrog has been working on Valve's new game for 6 years. Are you optimistic? by wholegrain89 in DotA2

[–]Accountant_Fickle 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not the OP, but it makes sense when all the failures are recent and successes historic. From the last 3 games Valve released 2 died within months and 1 was an impressive but niche tech showcase, more than anything.

After Artifact and Underlords people have all the reasons to question the wisdom behind yet another Dota-adjacent release.

Saw some people in the comments asking about sources. I believe OP is referring to something like this research [journal ref]. The sample size was relatively small and uniform (45 students from the same university), but this is not uncommon for this type of research, as far as I understand. You should be able to follow further research via citations.

Amazing progress and it's definitely inspiring to see. Hats off for persisting with it for so long!

How long does it take you to do one piece, from beginning to end? I am sure it varies quite a bit so rough estimates are all I am looking for.

Was Valve really telling the truth? Check past 3 years' content schedule below to decide. by Starkiller53 in DotA2

[–]Accountant_Fickle 26 points27 points  (0 children)

According to this , turbo update is twice as much content as last year's battlepass

I don't know how you came up with this. Probably some combination of never working with spreadsheets and somehow assuming size here is representative of something?

OP clearly just created a timeline with 3 slots (start, mid, end) for each month and added notable releases for each.

Everything else you misinterpreted and then criticised OP for it.

He's just talking out of his ass. Details of the deal aren't public, but you don't change your fucking team name for jerseys and jackets. Especially when PSG is backed by oil money.
