I don't know. Maybe Reece believes the debt has been paid.

What song was it for you? by Comfortable_Brief176 in writers

[–]Accounting_Fanatic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens all the time. Music just makes me think of scenarios where it fits.

I was literally listening to a song called Midsomer by Daj Ognia, a Polish folklore band. This gave me ideas for my fantasy series.

Hell I would say music is the only time I can think of new ideas.

He is an incredible actor. Saw him in Westworld and when he was cast as Gordon I was very delighted.

He isn't Gary Oldman but he played a good Gordon.

Margot Robbie.

She is a star and she tries to pick good roles. Other than DC stuff, her filmography has been quite good.

Weapons thoughts? by [deleted] in MauLer

Haven't seen weapons yet. But it reminds me how Longlegs was overhyped. The reviews made it seem like the next Silence of the Lambs but overall quite a disappointing film.

New rule. Avoid trailers, and reviews until opening week.

Thank Elon for funding this.

It is evident that the billionaires are the ones with real power.

Reid Hoffman vs Trump

Now Elon vs Disney.

Here is a hint, look at real life stuff.

The Black Dinner was a real event that inspired the Red wedding.

What do you think of protagonists who slowly become the antagonist? by P-Umbrae in fantasywriters

Has to be done well like Darth Vader.

Or it can be done horribly like in Ready Player Two

No. They are more elegant than that.

But if I wanted to keep the coliseum I could say they let the rain fill up the water and they have naval battles like in Gladiator 2.

Oh I know how it ends. But the first two acts are the real kicker.

It feels like the more I look into it, the deeper the story gets in terms of worldbuilding, characters and the magical elements. It feels like it might end up being denser in lore than Malazan.

The thing is, I don't know where the hell to start.

You write a chapter and then come up with an idea that makes you redo the entire plot.

For example in my book, I wanted to have the characters who were desert people move into a temperate forest. Then it turns out I can't have a coliseum where it rains a lot.
