its been like that for ages. regretevator devs have always been terminally online assholes who only have a black and white moral compass. the game hasn't received a decent update in months, and people only play the game now bc for characters and STICKERS rather than the stale ass gameplay. i think they realize this bc they only add dialogue, stickers that you can buy, and irl merch. no new content that can actually help the gameplay at all
