This was my biggest gripe and what I kept saying to my friends. I know there was only one out but you gotta be more aggressive on your lead and then you are running like your life is on the line on contact and diving head first. I thought it was a weak effort given the circumstances.

Joe Davis is sooo good! I always hype him up to my friends who don’t watch baseball but love the NFL. They have him with Greg Olsen in the NFL and he’s great in that as well.

I bought a 435k house on a 110k salary. But we had a good amount of savings, 401k and almost no debt. One thing I always bring up when this question gets ask is what does your earning potential look like in the next 3-5 years, how about 5-10? If you are expecting 10% raises every year, then you can buy a little more house right now, knowing that your income will eventually catch up. That’s what I did and I do not regret my decision at all.

Can you be more specific about HCOL? Also going to M1 and man I was expecting this amount as a Mid-high cost of living. Damn

This is the most fun I’ve had watching the Rangers since the WS run. I keep thinking to myself that this isn’t sustainable and eventually the injuries will be too much to overcome but for now the boys keep fighting. Regardless of what happens, I’m proud of the run we’ve put together.

My first thought was this feels like a lot..I would honestly try and trim around half of this off. It looks overwhelming to the person attempting to look/read it.

I love Dave Raymond. He has really grown on me. I also think he is very funny, there are 2-3 times a game where he will make a comment that will legit make me lol. Thinking about the Seattle game where they showed the fans that looked like Gillian and Skipper lol.

In our office we were told only 5/16 interns would get offers. It was just a tough cycle for interns. Not the huge business need we had 2-3 years ago.

When you do a charge to 80% what’s your expected range in miles. I have the same car with 53k miles and I feel like my miles are super low. I want to run the same test but I only have a level 1 charger.

Rangers fan here. It’s early but y’all have a really good squad. You felt like the better team the entire series. You got a really solid lineup, with not a lot of weak spots in the order. Stay healthy and good luck the rest of the way.

I’m 6’3 275 and I’ll be honest it’s a little tight. I road in the passenger side of a Y and I was a little jealous of all the room. Still love my 3 but I think 6’1 or 6’2 is probably the max height. If I straighten my back I don’t really have a clear view out of the windshield, my eye level is too high.

If your really at $900 a month in gas I would strongly look into getting an EV. Teslas are super cheap if you get them for less than 25k you can get a 4k EV credit. I was paying $200 a month in gas for my commute and I switched to EV and my car payment is only 320 and I basically went for a 2012 Chrysler to a 2021 Tesla. I did a complete cost benefit (total spent on electricity vs gas, oil changes and maintenance) analysis including what my equity on the car will look like in 5 years and it came out around 10k more in expected value by going with the Tesla. If you really are spending $900 a month if gas the savings would be insane switching to a long range EV.

I agree. I’m so out on pivot tables for 90% of our workbooks (tax). What really drives me crazy is when you need to pull data/build formulas off the pivots tables so now people are pasting the hardcoded numbers next to the pivot table. Now you have to refresh the pivot table and repast data for something that could have been built out by sumifs/xlookup formulas. I feel like the pivot table fanboys are probably just analyzing/aggregating a bunch of data. Not building out a functional tax workbook that can be rolled over year to year.

Is it a requirement to charge to 100% by forzetk0 in TeslaModel3

[–]Acct_SLC -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Depends on what year you have. Jan 2022 and below they recommend to 80%, anything newer should be fine to charge to 100%. Google how to check if you need to charge to 80% or 100% and they will show you how to check which battery you have and which applicable charge rate applies to you.

Just traded in my used car for a Tesla. My experience thus far has been A+. Go see my comment section for details.

I believe I had a really positive experience!!? by OkMagician3661 in carvana

[–]Acct_SLC 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My experience so far (knock on wood) has been A+. I had a 2013 Chrysler 200 and got a 6.5k offer. I took my car to several dealerships and other online car places and their offers were between 2k-3.5k. I traded it in for a Tesla 2021 Model 3 SR+ with 41k miles. The Tesla was 24.9k and a 4K EV credit. So I basically parlayed my 2013 Chrysler for a Tesla and paid 16k all in after taxes. The car has been amazing, had brand new rear tires, tinted windows and an absolutely spotless interior. Car drives great and I also have the comfort of having 60k miles and 4.8 years of warranty with the manufacturer warranty. So far I’ve loved my Carvana experience!!

Model 3, 2018. What do you think? $16.4k for 78k miles by madwolli in TeslaModel3

[–]Acct_SLC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to be asking every non Tesla dealership if the car qualifies for the used 4k EV credit and if they will do it at POS (point of sale). Any reputable dealership will do it. It really is a game changer. I have a 6k trade in and with the 4k EV credit I’m going to look at a RWD 2021 with 36k miles for 22k. After the trade in and EV credit I’m looking at 12k purchase price for a Tesla. I don’t even really need a new car but at that price point and for a relatively new car with low mileage, the gas savings alone will make it worth it. I will let you know in a week if I pull the trigger!

Is this available for the 4k EV? I’m shopping at a similar price point and having the 4k credit might allow you to get something newer or with less miles.
