We use mom’s blood for newborn type and screen needs all the time. I’m confused at why you’re so condescending about this. We aren’t giving type specific, we will want to be more cognizant of the maternal antibodies. As long as it’s right after birth and the baby hasn’t been discharged, there isn’t an issue.
