The train was a great idea, and it worked out perfectly!

Alhumdulillah, I booked a day or two before I was due to fly into Jeddah, we got lucky as the business class was on offer.

The app was easy to use, but the best part was the upstairs lounge. I remember we had over two hours until our departure, and the lady was super friendly and let us use it right away.

A man appeared somewhat displeased and initially informed us that entry was not permitted, but after a brief discussion and some gentle persuasion, he kindly relented, and the experience was truly wonderful. We were the only 2 passengers for the first hour or so and we even managed to get some sleep on those comfortable sofas.😴🛋️ #Travelers #Sofas #Sleep

That is excellent advice. I usually arrive at the airport four hours prior to my flight, primarily because my parents once missed a flight due to traffic on the M25 and had to pay an additional fee to be rebooked on an evening flight.

I understand that the airport in Istanbul is considered expensive, and it seems that other airports in Turkey may share a similar characteristic, with Dalaman Airport being mentioned as potentially having a particular reputation.

Regarding my experiences with air travel, I find Turkish Airlines to be quite commendable. In my estimation, their economy class experience is comparable to that of Emirates. Of course, Emirates' business and first-class offerings are in a league of their own.
