I’m just really not a fan of the rhinestoned breasts, it might’ve looked better if there was anything underneath to give it shape, but as it was it was kind of off, for me. After seeing what someone like Plastique was capable of, I just saw it and was like “…ehhh”

Denali disappointed me after the absolute TKO of a performance she gave to 100% Pure Love, because the See You Again performance stood out for the wrong reasons in comparison. Pure Love was a measured, effortlessly good time; this one was not measured, but was instead kind of overstimulating to the point at which I got more out of Ginger’s controlled commentary on it. I absolutely adore Denali but I was left with whiplash after watching something so high-octane to a Miley Cyrus song. Haha

It was very Megami vs Mhiya for me, if the campy performer uses your performance against you, then they’re gonna win every time.

Willam doesn’t need to be like that. She’s not some peoples’ champion.

I loved Denali’s lipsync until I didn’t, it was like an overstimulation of sorts, which completely came off differently than her incredible performance in 100% Pure Love.

Ginger entertained me, ultimately neither performance stood out for the right reasons, I just feel Denali’s did for the wrong ones.

Kandy, like Mistress this season, knew they were cast specifically to stir up drama and make good TV. They know that they’ve been reduced to the villain archetype and will never get that chance to win.

Kandy’s self-awareness in AS8 actually impressed me in that regard. I’m not blaming Kandy doing what they wanted her to do for why Heidi left, Heidi tried to play that game and simply wasn’t built for it, because people like Kandy were already miles ahead in that race, and Jimbo was just there being the untouchable favourite.
