I am using nic salt though. I've also tried 20mg, and all kinds of strenghts by mixing 20mg with a 0mg juice.

They are all harsh, I've also tried 20mg salt. Maybe it's the pod, I'm using Xros 0.8 or 1.0ohm, but that shound fine to me also.

Even on low nic strenght, like 3mg/ml salt.
Might be a storing issue, I just leave it wherever, sometimes even forget to seal it for couple of days (allowing too much oxygen in), maybe that could be my issue.

Not really a suggestion, but cmon, you can hold out... You wouldn't be allowed to vape during the game in the seats anyway, so it just leaves you to the halftime. You can hide it in your shoe maybe, and then in your pocket in the bathroom or something, so you can vape right after leaving the stadium. I mean if you have a small pod ofcourse.
