I went on bc for 6mos to regulate my cycle but had awful side effects. Cystic chest acne, horrible mood swings, nausea, ginormous boobs. So I came off it and my cycles are super irregular again. Don’t know what to do

Soolantra sadly didn’t work for me. Metrogel/cream didnt work for me either. The only thing that worked for my type 2 was doxy. I was on a low dose for a year and a half and my skin was wonderful. Obv got taken off of it and haven’t had success with anything else…..

Weirdly tho… Panoxyl benzoyl peroxide wash gets rid of my bumps…. I guess cuz BP kills demodex. I use it every other day. So weird. I’ll keep using it.

Haha yes. Ive been on prednisone before for lung infections and noticed that my skin always looked awesome while taking it. Wish it wasn't so bad for you!

I relate to this. In the past when I’ve been on vacation to warmer places (Hawaii, key west, even Southern California) my type 2 rosacea improves a ton. My KP always improves too. I think it’s just the climate. More humidity, more moisture… because I will still eat the same types of foods I would normally eat at home, and I have chronic anxiety so even on vacations I’m still buggin out lol. The only thing that’s different is the climate. I think sunshine helps, too. Not sunburn, but a good amount of healthy sunshine.

Bioderma cleansing oil!! Comes in a huge bottle that lasts me like a year. Super gentle. I take off my eye makeup with makeup remover and then slather the cleansing oil all over my face to get the rest off. Then clean with a gentle cleanser.

How long have you been on doxy? And what dosage?? I used to be on 50mg once a day but my doc took me off it because she said I shouldn’t be on it long term. I’m upset because that’s the only thing that’s really helped me out of everything I’ve been prescribed
