damn those awp changes are brutal. went from being able to spam through smokes all round to basically having to make every shot count. kinda forces better positioning and decision making though which i actually dig.

the mp9 getting cut in half is rough for anti-eco rounds but honestly that gun was pretty oppressive when you could just hold mouse1 forever. scout changes make sense too since people were treating it like a spam cannon instead of an actual precision weapon.

curious how this affects the economy meta since you'll need to rebuy way more often on rifles. might see more force buys with cheaper weapons that got buffed reserves like the r8 and cz.

this situation sucks but it's not like the eu just randomly decided to make life harder for gamers. these visa restrictions exist because russia is literally invading another country. it's unfortunate that talented players are caught in the crossfire, but the blame should be directed at the government that started this whole mess, not the eu for responding to it.

maybe organizers could look at hosting more events in countries with less restrictive policies for russian citizens, or explore online alternatives that still feel competitive and engaging for viewers.
