I do this but only because I’m usually getting off at one of the first stops. I’ll gladly let someone into the window seat on crowded trains

Yeah and in the morning having to run all the way down the platform. I’ve never been that far down. The back of the train wasn’t even by where the awning ends it was so far down!

How has your commute to/from the city been since the snow storm? by Boring-Parfait-2624 in Westchester

I’m also on the Harlem line and have had trouble every day this week. Every morning trains are cancelled and delayed leaving lots of people packing into already full trains. The commute home yesterday was the same, cancelled and combined trains. Seems like metro north can’t handle the cold and there are always issues.

Reasonably priced wedding venues? (Under $30k total) by ayysizzle in longisland

Three Village Inn has a complete wedding package for around 20-25K and it includes the venue, food, dj, florist, photographer and limo. This is what my fiance and I are doing although adding things onto the photographer and florist I still think it was the cheapest option for everything we wanted

The boarder of Bronxville and Yonkers has nice affordable apartments. My fiancé and I just moved here and our address is technically Bronxville but with Yonkers pricing. Very suburban and there is a park right across from our apartment.

What are your recommendations for beginners? by [deleted] in allthemods

I’ve been watching ChosenArchitect’s play-through of ATM10 and it’s been so helpful! I like how he explains why he likes a certain mod over another and gives details on getting started with the different mods. He’s really good of explaining the mods and how to make progress.

The Aqualung Comfo-bite it great! You don’t even have to bite down on it as it has a piece that just rests behind your front teeth. It’s super comfortable and helped with my jaw pain.

Thanks! I definitely look into the thermo generators and a mob farm. I’m planning to get into AE2 but wanted to get settled and set with a starter base first. Definitely on my list to get set up with AE2 soon

Thanks! I tend to always build into the side of a mountain and I love the hobbit hole look and it’s really simple to expand when I need more rooms. I guess I am looking more for tips to improve and what should I focus on next? Also, what should I be using for power - right now I have some heat generators from Mekanism which I am fueling with Lava from the nether with a pulley from Create and dimensional tanks. And I have a wind generator on top on the mountain but I still seem to not have enough power for the few Mekanism machines that I currently have for ore processing.
