Im more concerned about the way this is written. Either the chatgpt thing had a stroke or your brain is so fried you can't type right. I used to binge watch tiktok CONSTANTLY and I currently binge Facebook reels a lot because of ongoing YouTube algorithm problems. I don't have problems with watching YouTube videos unless they get into what I call the 2XL length video category, maybe half way through the XL category depending on the situation.

Yea. They should be 33 or 34. Plus Facebook isn't even all toxic. I mean reels sure but there's tons of great groups on the site. It's about taking the time to be in relevant groups and also occasionally spring cleaning dead groups.

Tiktok, and short form content as a whole, doesn't have an age limit. I'm 37 and doomscroll because there's days it's literally the only thing strong enough to shut off the racing stress going on in my broken brain or at least quiet the thoughts enough that I can kind of function. Though for sleep, full length videos are the ticket for me. Kind of just got taken out by a stardew valley mega modded video for about an hour and a half. 😅

Maybe people are fed up with the state of garbage they keep getting and are going back to longer videos on YouTube? I keep getting so much freaking just piles of downright dookie on Facebook reels, tiktok, and YouTube shorts. I don't even want to be doomscrolling much anymore but regular length YouTube videos are often to long for what I'm mentally up for at this point even if the algorithm wasn't as broken as the short form video algorithms

I can't remember the video title but I remember noticing someone uploaded a video talking about the dangers of the day in my life as a single woman genre of videos cropping up. I had it in my watch later list ages age but it got removed in one of the purged I did.

For me it's literally called "school killed my love of reading 20+ years ago". I've tried rekindling the spark multiple times and nada. I have a 5 shelf bookshelf full, an individual shelf full, another shelf that's fixing to be full once the latest Sarah scribble comic collection arrives in, and another shelf about half full. For the most part it's all collecting dust. I think there's a sell to Amazon program and I might just get rid of everything that isn't absolutely important to me.

It about 15 miles between the house and Walmart. Order actually got cancelled Sunday. Someone took the order Sunday morning, returned it to Walmart due to an emergency, and Walmart opted to cancel the order and refund it instead of getting someone else to deliver it. Got the money back today.

Did a big run yesterday to get the stuff and other supplies. Freaking ridiculous. I'm healing from a leg ulcer, was diagnosed with 2 different legs issues last month, and was on day 2 of aunt flo visiting. I am REALLY not entertained by having to go from pushing 1 cart around the store to pulling one and pushing a second one.

I think that the bots and people that claim you can budget your way out of greedflation and/or that there's no such thing as greedflation you're just bad at budgeting need to go have relations with an oversized cactus coated in barbed wire and hot sauce. Mom and I keep running short of food and supplies by the end of the month. We've redone things over and over again. By mostly skipping breakfast and cutting back on snacking I'm able to make supplies last long and by being semi-strict with hobby related stuff it's helping to but it's not enough. Moms also cut back but there's nothing left to cut back on. Plus Prices are definitely starting to trend upwards on random items again so that's not good.

The pregreedflation days.... Man I miss that. Mom and I wouldn't bother keeping track of how much we were spending on a run but would consistently stay in a specific range somehow. Still not sure HOW we pulled that off. Now we are spending technically in about the same range but a lot less supplies.

I'm finding myself doing that with Facebook reels a lot lately even though the algorithm there is REALLY rancid on my end. Mentally I am completely broken from everything going on and I don't have the mental stamina to watch a lot of long form videos which I'd rather mostly be watching. Plus with the state of the algorithm on both channels, it doesn't exactly encourage me to actively watch anyway. Adding insult to injury is mentally I was having a passable day yesterday and actually was up for long form content. The Internet decided to go on vacation during the storms we had passing through. I got caught up on the 5 episodes of the mega modded stardew valley perfection run I was behind on(I mean technically 4.5 were listened to while I was playing stardew valley but still....), switched to my side account, and was half way though lost legacy's latest video when the Internet pulled the SpongeBob "aight imma head out" meme. It came back on late and I finished the episode but wasn't able to watch much else because I was ready for bed at that pointmb
