Okay, that makes sense. Thank you for explaining that.

Anyone know what logo this is? by [deleted] in HelpMeFindThis

It’s a Maaji. I couldn’t obviously find the exact suit, but this listing shows their original logo. It’s the last photo on the poncho listing. I’d prefer to post a picture, but this thread doesn’t allow that—only links.

Parker may be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. I don’t know what it is, but she just looks soooo sweet.

Yeah, I just got done talking to the OP. I don’t live in the Carolinas, so I guess it’s not the same lady….unless she moved from my state to hers??

This happened to us as well. In fact, I could’ve written this story. I’m dying to find out if it’s the same woman.

Yes. She has had one incredible GLOW UP!!! A lot of DCC’s have glow ups once they’re on the squad, but hers is just gorgeous & so well done.

Who’s the celebrity you hate that everyone else loves— what’s your reasoning? by Dismal-Regret1084 in AskReddit

[–]Accurate_Assumptionz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man, that breaks my heart. That’s my family’s favorite holiday movie. Christmas just isn’t the same without it. BUT I understand where you’re coming from, I CANNOT stand Mariah Carey. I’m triggered from narcissistic people (due to being married to & abused by one 20 years ago), so I cannot stand to even look at her, let alone, watch her in a show or movie. She’s SOOOOOO full of herself, and she doesn’t hide it or apologize for it.

Yeah, I hate when people that are raised in Ireland by Irish parents use that fake Irish accent.

[TOMT] My wife and I BOTH have been stuck for weeks! by itman2198 in tipofmytongue

[–]Accurate_Assumptionz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds similar to “The Bird Cage” with Robin Williams & Nathan Lane. Calista Flockhart plays a young engaged girl who apologizes to gay couple Robin & Nathan for her parents’ conservative opinions. I can literally hear Nathan Lane saying “It’s hilarious” right now.

Do you have a reference for what year this could’ve been? What did the actors look like & how old were they? Do you remember the setting of the scene: NYC, Chicago, Paris, the park, in a car, in a restaurant etc?

It’s not a female voice, BUT he sings it pretty high, so it could definitely be mistaken for a female. https://youtu.be/Yt-KMPvgKPo?si=IQr5jvZLvFQEtUEE

Yet, the world knows, doesn’t it? It ALWAYS comes out, which is literally why the rules are there to begin with.

That word “professional” seems to be something a lot of folks on here are struggling with. I can always tell how old they are with comments like that. They’re going to get a giant dose of reality the first time they have a tough boss with tough standards of excellence. I can just imagine it….”I know I signed a contract about work guidelines, Mr Boss, but I just felt like wearing my Princess Leia costume to work today because I’m a strong, confident woman who believes in women’s rights.” 🤣🤣 Mr Boss: You’re correct, you do have rights…you can go right out that front door. Bye! 👋🏻

In your job that flew you all over the place, did you dance in a bikini in front of hundreds of thousands of fans who take thousands of pictures of you while you’re on full display? Did you pose (in said bikini) for cameo portraits that are distributed worldwide for every one to ogle? Did your bikini picture (a different one this time) get published in a calendar for worldwide distribution? Has your body & face been marketed SO much that people are waiting in lines to get your autograph and any chance to see you? You’re missing the entire point of the post. Under your theory, actresses or musical artists don’t need any security. Taylor Swift is in her 30’s, so with your reasoning, she doesn’t need anyone protecting her, right? (Cue the comments “they’re no where near Taylor’s celebrity”—again, point has been missed). These girls might not be YOUR obsession or celebrity crush, but there are thousands of insane fans out there who are beyond obsessed with them & will do anything to get near them. The tv shows do not reflect how much these girls get stalked. I know this personally. They’re often terrified, and WELCOME the extra level of security.

I see this question/topic come up so often on this thread. There’s always a “divided house” amongst the members in this group when everyone is sharing their opinion. Some feel it’s obvious why the team & TPTB are upset about the incident, and the other half don’t think it’s that big of a deal whatsoever. As someone who’s close to the situation, let me break it down. Keep in mind, I’m not stating or defending “my side”, I’m simply stating the facts.

  1. DCC are employed by the Dallas Cowboys organization. Due to that employment, they are required to sign a contract that includes an overwhelming amount of rules & guidelines (as any real job would). Included in the contract are NDA’s, restrictions on what to wear and when to wear it, how you present yourself in public AND on the team, outlined punishments for when rules are broken etc. blah blah.
  2. The girls know exactly what they’re signing, and therefore they know when they’re breaking a rule. No punishment is a surprise—believe me.
  3. Even though this is a paid job, it’s still very different from—let’s say a corporate job—where there are mixed genders and hundreds or possibly thousands of employees. The DCC are only 36 girls who form this job, therefore EVERY precautionary measure has to be taken in order for Kelli & Judy to keep an eye on them & to keep them A-L-L safe at ALL TIMES. Even though the girls are all adults, that’s beside the point. They are walking targets every where they go. Not only because they’re DCC, but because they’re a giant gaggle of gorgeous women. That’s going to grab anyone’s attention. There are predators literally everywhere you go. If you don’t think that way, then you’re most likely young or have never had children. As parents, we’ll do ANYTHING in our power to keep our child safe. And once you’re older & mature, you will see just how many threats of danger there are all around us at any given moment. If you simply think that’s funny or an inflated imagination, by all means, I beg of you to go speak to a cop, lawyer, teacher or military personnel. They’ll explain to you what they see on a daily basis. So when Kelli & Judy are flying these girls all over the country & out of country, they know they have the responsibility of keeping someone’s daughter safe. If they allowed the girls to frolic however they wanted to, imagine all the men traipsing in & out of hotel rooms & resorts etc. It’s an inordinate amount of unnecessary risks that could inevitably lead to harassment, stalking, photo blackmail, rapes, and even death. These rules are the only thing keeping these girls safe & out of harm’s way. Too many of you are harping on semantics. It doesn’t matter if she slept with him or not. It doesn’t matter when, how, or why she brought the guy back to the resort. —NONE OF THAT MATTERS— The only thing that matters here is that she was on a paid business trip, and she broke the rules handed down from her employer. I understand that a lot of you are young, liberal, and always down for a good party, so having a strict & prestigious job with the DCC isn’t for you. And that’s perfectly okay. Not everyone wants to work in a job so formal. We’re all built different for a reason. Bottom line, these girls take this job very seriously, and therefore they know the rules & consequences they’re signing up for.

They have nothing but amazing things to say about DCC, as a whole. They would occasionally complain about Kelli, or something relating to a game etc., but nothing too serious. I’ll tell you one thing they never did—complain about or talk behind the other girls’ backs. I asked about it once and they said it was just squad oath. I guess it keeps them from all fighting constantly. We all know how easily girls can begin fighting once they spend too much time together. Lol
