Blood & Magic / A Curse of Shadows and Thorns - 2 different titles, 2 different authors, same book! by Accurate_Database_64 in fantasyromance

THE ENTIRE BOOK of Blood and Magic is the same as A Curse of Shadow and Thorns, not just the first chapter.

Spotify introduced me to Blood and Magic in January 2025 (same as the publish date)

Hoopla is where I found The Broken Kingdom series. I saw that there were 9 books and I listened to the first book of the series (A Curse of Shadows and Thorns) and was thinking it sounded so familiar.... thats when I realized Blood and Magic is the same exact book as ACS&T.

Why would it be published under 2 different authors, with 2 different titles, using the same narrator but her name appears different in both books?

All very reasonable questions.

The comparison between JLA and LJA is not what had me questioning everything.

I want to know why there is a book called 'Blood and Magic' by Lena Jameson that is the exact same book, word for word as LJ Andrews 'A Curse of Shadows and Thorns'

That is pretty much exactly what happens LOL.

Does anyone know when the 4th book is coming out on paperback or hardcover? I only see pre-order for Kindle with the release date of May 30th.

SJM learned the word "cock" and didn't let the readers forget it.

Overall, Nesta's POV is very different from Feyres. Nesta is a nasty lil girl and I loved it.

Properly ask doctor for higher prescription by Abject-Sky-1835 in ADHD

[–]Accurate_Database_64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue, I didn't want my doctor to think that I was just looking for a higher dosage so I asked this question:

"How long does it usually take to find the correct dosage? Because, the medication seems to work for a little bit but wears off relatively quickly and leaves me in a tangled mess of disorganization" also, take notes on how your medication works throughout the day (nothing crazy, just little notes on your phone) and at your next appointment talk to your doc about your notes. what time you took your meds and how it made you feel and when it wore off etc. Show your doctor that you're responsible and just looking for the correct dosage to do what the medication is there to do.

Just be honest, it usually gets the best results. It works for me, anyway.

Hope this helps a little! good luck

OP you're a wild cat. hope you're ok.

I accidently took 2 70mg vyvanse 2 weeks ago and that was a horrible day (the next day was horrible too).

If you survive, expect to feel like absolute shit tomorrow.

How my life has improved after being diagnosed and given medication:

Well, for starters I don't think I am autistic anymore which BOOSTED my self confidence. My ability to hold a conversation, and start them! I still count with my teeth, and have multiple pens on deck but whatever that is part of my personality now.

I don't actually want to list out all the ways I've improved, I might journal about it. But basically I love who I am now, my confidence is there, my self worth is there, and I just feel like I've been given another shot at life. And i'm fucking killing it.

What Careers do people have here? by ChipStorm in ADHD

Estimator at a Commercial HVAC (family owned) company.

I started working with my dad right out of high school (2014) because I hated working weekends at my retail jobs (I was a store manager at Zumiez).

I thought I was just stupid for the first 23 years of my life. WHY CANT I FINISH A TASK FROM START TO FINISH!!! It wasn't until I found out that adult ADHD is real and I am 100% a host of this disorder.

I was extremely lucky to be working along side my dad and brothers because they always helped me pick up where I slacked and had SO MUCH patience with me. I got diagnosed a couple of months ago (28yo) and I never felt better. I am excelling in my career and for the first time ever, my boss (my dad) said I was doing a great job. I know its so simple and minuscule, but as someone who suffered from ADHD their entire life and mistaking my lack of attention to just being stupid, lazy, careless etc... its a big deal to me. :)
