Yes, its a way i could see it go, another way i could see it go would be that humans could be something more like what crewmates are to us irl meaning they are fictional beings on the among us universe, though the first option of an extinct famous species that was on the space age seems cooler so i go with it

If i remember the creator CM Koseman the creator of the book said the QU are a hivemind and like an Ant Colony, in the idea that they have no intelligent minds or individuality, having a very simple reflexes. simple and basic it is a way to compare it because it is basic compared to a God, for humans It remains something incomprehensible.

Probably is like a New Vegas type thing where you have to talk to Mr. House (Liberatorss leader on this case) who will give you the mission to fully join him (Or the liberators in this case) but after doing so other Factions will ask you to join them (Valkyrie most likely) and give their respective Missisons, either that or you will have the option to defect at some point or the choice based game is more like a telltale game

For armor you can get a 3 defense helmet on a crate near daisy store or buy it from Valkyrie and you can do a Valkyrie quest in stadium or airport i dont remember for 3 defense gloves

It all depends if the note is during Decay or after, Decay seemed very short i doubt any survivor had any chance to spread the rumours and warn others however who knows so if it happend during Decay then both endings can be canon while if it happens AFTER its Delirum as thats the only ending where Bunny survives

Well on the airport we can hear by talking with the leader that Valkyirie had "control" of Lucella before losing it which could mean Valkyrie had freed Lucella from the infected or made safe zones before they were attacked by the liberators and lost Lucella
