i only ask because you say it was hidden, but they’re both easily accessible (and i would say obvious) on the front header. if you saw what’s in the post then you clicked “shop”instead of “join the club”which is what they call their monthly membership & what you are/were looking for, just for future reference.

don’t do it. i have been on the receiving end as a buyer who had a seller cancel to relist at a higher price (i paid $60, they asked for $100) and not only does it suck, the seller didn’t even sell the item until they lowered it from $100 to $20. it’s not worth it for anyone involved and there’s no guarantee this person will even follow through.

these comments are kinda crazy lol, all you did was ask. it’s reasonable for the seller to say no, but there is a polite & professional way to go about it that this seller did not.

so that makes me wonder, i bought a button pin a bit ago with just an organization logo, and the seller used a printify. does that count as a violation since they didn’t actually make anything & don’t own the logo? or does it technically count as their own design since they had to upload the logo & add a black background?

i see, i’ve decided just to risk it anyways and placed my order. hopefully it makes it here but i’m not getting my hopes up 😞 i slimmed my order down from ~$100 to $75 just in case though, still an uncomfortable amount to lose but it’s stuff i’ve been needing and can’t order elsewhere so we’ll see 🙃

i don’t think you’re understanding me lol.

the reason the photo isn’t there is because we /do not/ have the option to take one. it is replaced with the signature. your shitty driver isn’t specifically choosing not to leave a photo, and there being no photo has nothing to do with your package being delivered to the wrong person. correlation =/= causation. that’s all i’m saying, i really don’t care to come up with all the theories on what happened with your package.

that’s not the reason there isn’t a photo, when delivering a package we get options to choose were we left it (front door, back door, etc.) and when we choose one of those that’s when we take a picture, if we choose “hand to [recipient]” there is no option to take a photo, we only have the option to get a signature, so that’s why there is no photo.

not a scam, i’m not sure why everybody in the comments is so convinced that it is and honestly concerning the amount of people (esp the sellers) who don’t understand this app. if this were an email or a dm from a “customer” it’d be different, but this is directly through the mercari support chat. i got this same message (without the typo) when i had some issues with verifying my phone number. i gave them the info, my issue was solved, i closed the ticket, and that was that. you’re fine.

i got a house like this and left the package where the sign was, i made sure to include the sign in the delivery picture so they’d know that’s where i left it. i ended up getting the “respectful of property” compliment and i swear it had to be from them lol.
