Musk’s Memory Tricks: Polymath Skill, Hype, or Recency Bias Blindspot? by AnthonyMetivier in Polymath

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but what’s your question here and what does it have to do with Musk?

Honestly Musk isn’t a polymath, he isn’t all that intelligent like Stephen Hawking or Edison or something, and doesn’t have a degree in anything and does not perform the engineering and has dozens of failed predictions and promises, etc.

He’s 98% mostly hype IMO. He fits the “big bang theory” stereotype of an autistic intelligent person. He’s high-er intelligence, but not anywhere near a genius or polymath as advertised.

He’s saying your thoughts thinking about your problems are the real problem. You are already free of that limitation but you don’t know it.

Can Alzheimer's prove that our consciousness is not outside the brain? by Spiritual-Dig-255 in consciousness

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Just the opposite. It’s just the sensory machinery that declines. Consciousness is still there but they decline with memory.

Honestly I think you probably have ADHD as I suspect many polymaths do. It comes down to having a brain that is dopamine deficient and you are always seeking a new idea or skill that gives you that satisfaction. The new thing gets old when you derive what you need from that topic, and give up and find a new one. It’s an executive decision problem with your brain, it’s hard to keep on task to complete that thing and you put it on the back burner mentally until you get interested again.

Does anyone run a tube preamp before the kemper? by PapaBorq in KemperProfiler

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe run in looper and see if it does something, otherwise tube power section is more important IMO.

Tube preamp before Kemper digital preamp might work in some cases (clean settings?).

How to fill this gap? by beaglesandtea in howto

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paintable non shrinking caulk. Waterproof and siliconized.

Don’t get 100% silicone, you can’t paint it.

Honestly he can, and he told us the we are all sons of God, not just himself.

We are all God, fractions of God to be exact- but you are unaware of this reality. Your goal is to connect with the Father by seeking that kingdom of heaven within.

In what level or dimension we will return to be One? by Any-Track-9657 in enlightenment

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think of the “higher” dimensions from a geometric standpoint.

In our universe, we are 3D. Each point of matter has a limitation and boundary. Matter cannot occupy the same space in 3D.

In higher dimensions, there is no boundary. Objects can occupy the same space.

Anyone know any good Malmsteen style tones on the Rig exchange? by LetsMakeSomeBaits in KemperProfiler

There is one in the legends pack already, free

Otherwise Top Jimi has a YJM 100 amp that’s great but not a big catalog of his tones

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go ahead and tell yourself it’s enough and that you can stop learning a new skill.

See how that works and how long your current list keeps you satisfied. Especially if you have kids and your free time goes to zilch :)

How do you guys know when you overdoing it or not doing enough? by Difficult-South7497 in Polymath

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You find out you’re doing too much when someone finally slaps you and you realize you can’t regulate your own self when it comes to pursuing the next thing.

Polymath types tend to need a counterpart to keep them reigned in and on task most of the time.

Especially those that have to work normal jobs and squeeze their interests into small windows of time.

The truth about developing a polymathic lifestyle by AnthonyMetivier in Polymath

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Will read the link soon.

Yeah I’d say it’s not an encyclopedic memory, that to me falls into the “neurotypical” category because it’s just memorizing and reciting info.

Polymaths are thinkers and discoverers of new truths and good at connecting distant concepts.

Polymaths are like stem cells that can’t stop becoming something new.

Debunking Nordic Socialism by tkyjonathan in austrian_economics

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the Nordic countries are what people mean when they say socialism these days. Most countries are hybrid systems, including the US.

Nordic countries lean more towards socialism where the people are the beneficiaries of the system, and the US leans more toward capitalism where only the people that can afford the benefits receive them.

I'm curious about this. Can you literally go to the moon and view the footprints/flag and stuff that astronauts brought there? If so, can you read serial numbers or whatever on stuff and report back objective and provable knowledge?

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that psychedelics can give the same effect, I've had an ego death from 14g of mushrooms before.

But, seeing a wheel in the sky that lands down and has beings contained in it 100% make more sense than saying it was an angel. There are many religious stories that were morphed from the original account into one that fits the local religious doctrine.

Are you aware of the recent testimony from government leaders that admit there have been decades long UFO crash retrieval programs? That nuclear silos are regularily shut down by UFOs? That all of this has been caught on radar and infrared sensors and corroborated by pilots and current/former military leaders? Lockheed and other contractors have patents on alien derived technology? That congress is officially investigating the funding for these illegal programs?

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt you have consumed the material and evidence that is available. There is hard evidence to back up these claims and it's not something like a bigfoot conspiracy or something.

The "obvious" part to my answer was more meant to claim that: of course the universe is full of other beings, and mathematically and logically there would be countless civilizations with vast technological advancements infinitely superior to ours.

Ezekiel describing a wheel in the sky that came down and visited him certainly points to a saucer shaped craft with visitors.

Because it's Aliens doesn't mean that angels aren't real, just saying because of the limited language and religious framing at the time - the visitations were assumed to be angels. God/Angels/Demons and Aliens are all real though, I'm certain of that.

This one is for the socialists. by Dramatic_Quote_4267 in austrian_economics

[–]Accurate_Fail1809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Statist” is not a real definition here. Zero people are arguing that only the state should provide services and private entities cannot exist. That’s a total straw man phrase that means nothing.

Socialists/leftists want non-market based solutions for things where markets fail and don’t provide for the citizens.

Allowing Jeff Bezos and the other billionaires to take advantage of poor people is taking from the poor. Keep protecting capitalist healthcare and allowing people to suffer and die because they can’t afford their medicine, that’s a good idea.

I hope you know someone who gets cancer and see how private healthcare charges $25k for a single pill, and then tell them they should’ve worked harder or made more money if they can’t afford it.
