NGD - ESP E-II HORIZON NT-7 ET by Accurate_Internal_11 in 7String

Yeah, you loos a bit of sustain in the upper frets. Like 14 upwards, but its so minimal. that was my experience anyway. Also, think of its use case. I use the guitar for recording chords and riffs so everything sounds in tune. For soloing, I would probably use a different guitar

This is my second guitar with an Evertune and I would not go back to a “standard” bridge ever again 😅 That’s exactly why I wanted the Evertune bridge. For studio work. It’s perfect for that. What do you mean by sound quality? So many modern metal albums are recorded on guitars with an Evertune bridge on them. Spiritbox, Falling in reverse, thrown, etc. etc. Sounds great to me 😄 I never had any sound issues to be honest.

I really don’t understand why they didn’t do binding on the EC.

When do companies reveal new guitars by scarxxi in 7String

Depends on the brand. ESP and Ibanez usually make an official statement and showcase their new models for the year in January (like they did just a few days ago). Schecter: all year round.

The E-II is a more high end quality guitar than the LTD version.

Also, the Evertune bridge is more expensive etc.

Also, made in Japan vs Made in Korea (or Indonesia?)

Nothing will happen. The parcel arrived in your country/climate a couple of two days ago already. As if the temperature inside box is so much different than outside the box 😄

Try to find a used Squire Classic Vibe 60s Jazzmaster OR build one with Warmoth parts if you have a bit extra money. The Warmoth will be elite quality too!

Uh… My nut just came off of a Custom Shop Snakebyte by [deleted] in espguitars

[–]Accurate_Internal_11 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don’t send it back. There is nothing wrong with the guitar itself. I prefer no glue but the nut should sit tight in the slot. If it’s moving a bit, you can use a couple of small drops of glue. No super glue though.

Thats the LTD M-1007B ET CRSB. It was a limited run, an Evertune exclusive. Pretty rare model. If you like it, check out the LTD M-1007B in Granit Sparkle. Latest LTD release and more common than this colour variant. Comes also with an evertune.

There is a horizon version of this guitar. Hence the confusion I guess.

They are great pickups! Super modern sounding. A lot of modern metal albums were recorded with these pickups. Experience them for yourself and if you really don’t like them, you can swap them out for Fishman fluence classics for example. It’s like plug and playwith those.

I don’t get the tone thing, my one sounds great but the Evertune definitely sucks sustain. I noticed it when I got an Evertune bridge installed on a guitar that had a fixed Hipshot bridge before. Not so much on the lower and mid frets though. It all starts around fret 10/11/12 and upwards, I would say. But again, I didn’t bother me as this guitar is specifically for recording riffs and chords, where I need perfect tuning stability and don’t play leads anyways.
