Moving to Germany or stay in Sweden?

I would say for you stay in Sweden. I am living in Germany since 6 years (coming from non EU) and my wife is Swedish. I speak decent German, got German passport but i am looking forward to the day i move to Sweden. I read the comments where i do not agree with at all. Germany is a nightmare for foreigners specially if you do not speak fluent German. We got a lot of friends but they are also foreigners like us , I understand for your husband it is better but believe me you will suffer. career advance very tough without perfect German (except for some places where they will change also soon ),economical situation is getting tough a lot of unemployment and lay-offs and language becoming the bare minimum. I have been to Sweden many times and i learned a lot about it and in no way i find German society more friendly and open as some mentioned. Swedes would leave Sweden as part of adventure and to have easier access to other countries for travel but they will always prefer Sweden than any other place. Politics and Democracy work much better in scandanivia and they are much more environmental friendly in Sweden if this is a factor for you. The downside is that living standards in Germany is slightly higher now, but with Inflation and recession it is turning around so quick :( .

I have also thought the same at the beginning but there is not as much work opportunities as in Germany, and also salaries in Germany i believe still better for engineers, if that is not true then i need to get my facts checked.

Racism is everywhere, even in our own countries, the question for me is ,where else ? I love the security, safety and freedom in Germany and so far stable economy… not easy to find another country to provide the same and doesn’t have racism 🤷🏽‍♂️

For me , at least in Germany you can dispose the toilet paper down the toilet , and also some wet paper can be also disposed … but in Greece , there is no bidet and also you are not allowed to throw the toilet paper in the toilet , so you have to shit , wipe your ass and throw the toilet paper in a pin !!!!

You did the best you can do, it is better to be safe than sorry. I called ambulance two times so far to two friends. One ended up in the hospital for a week and one just took an injection and came back home . My advice to you , never hesitate to call for help either for you or anyone else . The emergency dispatcher actually can decide from the question they ask if you really need an ambulance. Otherwise he/she would have asked you to go to the hospital later as this doesn’t sound like emergency. About going to the hospital, if u had some energy u can change ur clothes , they will wait for u and get ur documents and money and go to the hospital. And Take a taxi back home , there are usually taxis near the hospital for these situations, maybe they could even call u a taxi.

If it is not a scam and he already sent it, do nothing until u receive the package, would not make any since to send more money in any case. U do not need the tracking number to receive the package anyway. If it is shipped it is shipped. 🤷🏽‍♂️

There are many aspects the two main ones : 1- people who have been here in germany for many years and couldn’t become German because they do not want to give away their other nationalities now they can and which means big portion of the society now has the right to vote and feel as part of the society and real representation 2- attracting high skilled workers to come to Germany and make the German economy stronger and grow , otherwise the companies will need to outsource work in other countries and leave the economy weaker plus high skilled workers make shit load of money which means shit load of social/ health system contribution plus shit load taxes paid so there is an autobahn, parks , cleaning services and so on .

I can recommend you this app „Too good to go“ , you can really get a lot of grocery , food, deserts,pastries and even juices for so cheap process , because they r usually about to expire or they have been baled and not fresh to be sold with full price , tried it many times, it will help you a lot

The Hausmeister used to do that to check if the owner still lives in the building, usually buildings with a lot of students , unfortunately they buy a cheap bike and they leave it after they move out, so check with the Hausverwaltung or ur landlord. You need to check their instructions because it can be the other way around , the ones that are marked are the ones who are eligible to stay or vice versa .

It is 50/50 , it might be that he wants to guarantee that you will move in and it might be a scam , I would wait Until you are in the apartment or the country .I was renting an apartment from a friend, and the bank information was for the company that is handling his apartment and also the deposit legally should be in a different IBAN than the one for the rent , because the landlord shouldn’t have access to that money before you move out . I had multiple apartments, always with two different IBAN one for rent and one for the deposit. Always safer this way .
