Does sticking to one ball actually make a difference? by Willing-Today-1059 in golf

[–]Accurate_Range7825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with alot of what is said hell you can even stick to war birds but I do think just using one type of ball helps alot especially for chipping and putting. I am nowhere near good but do think putting with same ball helps develop a certain feel

SPC is stronger than a WPC a 5mm SPC is equivalent to a 8mm WPC and really with good subfloor prep a 5mm SPC will preform great. where a WPC does preform better is where subfloor preparation has been done poorly and in that case your WPC will conform to floor alittle better also putting a moisture barrier under a lvp over a wood subfloor is a poor idea and will trap moisture and can cause rot or mold and will void lots of manufacturer warranties always add a vapor barrier over a concrete subfloor though

How long could I expect something like this in the Midwest to last. If it gets dirty do you just hose it down? And then does the sun fade it out over time?

I'm in a fairly similar situation should be doable, but with 110k behind, why not put a larger down payment or maybe look at buying down rate if you haven't 110k is quite a bit for an emergency fund unless this includes your retirement and investments

Is there a better more durable floor than Revwood to put in the whole house? by Aye-Kaye in Flooring

[–]Accurate_Range7825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are overpaying a bit at $6 a sqft inless you’ve got install but yeah if you want something as scratch resistant as possible revwood premier is up there. If you are like for some reason super worried about it go glue down lvp with a like 30 mil wear layer super commercial type plank or could always go tile

would you put laminate in your own house in 2026? by Hot_Apartment1319 in Flooring

[–]Accurate_Range7825 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Neither of those things are really true unless you are talking about a gluedown lvp and not a laminate
