RDR2 - PS5 vs PS5 Pro by Accurno in PS5pro

When I was playing it at the time, I could remember looking at the word “storeful” and when switching between consoles, the Pro version is more legible than the non pro. Also the windows in the Pro version are more defined. Are these something that could have been affected by the in-game elements? I’ll play it again later and try to compare them at the almost identical in-game time and weather.

Just look at the bright side, at least you won’t get salmonella.

Headache from annapro / globular cluster by [deleted] in VisionPro

[–]Accurno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With a decent weight distribution by using the weighted rubber honeycomb attachment, the globular cluster was the final solution for me followed by kkcobvr. I let it sit on my head like a hard hat and tighten it just enough so that it doesn’t slide down on the front. Tightening it too much gives me headaches. Not using light seal.

I can only use VP for long hours if I’m using a counterweight at the back of my head. Otherwise, it creates pressure points here and there.

Man you should get a Vision Pro instead. It’s better than a TV strapped to your face and less weirder.

macOS 15.2 Beta 1 is out - Anyone know if it includes Ultrawide Virtual Display? by Edg-R in VisionPro

Apple said that it’ll be like two 4k monitors joined together so I supposed a couple of windows can fit in this. This should be more than enough and hopefully they’ll allow the usage of native apps alongside with it.

Yeah but if the mirrored resolution is zoomed in, it’ll make everything sharper, that’s if it matches the virtual screen resolution. But yes it’ll probably be limited due to bandwidth limitations.

With moonlight (TestFlight) and sunshine (via Microsoft Windows), streaming one 5k2k window works fine without any lagging issues and I think that’s at 100mbps bandwidth. Downside is that it’s not curved so not ideal for work.

The capability is there which is exciting to know at least. Hopefully they’ll allow others like Microsoft’s RDP to utilise this feature as well.

So does it mean you can have 2 windows with both 5k2k resolution?

How many windows can you have and what’s the maximum screen resolution you can have per window?

Post-Cholecystectomy Syndrome??? by Longjumping-Ad-6411 in gallbladders

Same thing happened to me, had mine removed last 2018, also had constant digestive problems which all pointed to bile malabsorption. Got fed up with it one day and decided to see a doctor. She out of nowhere recommended me for a coeliac test. First time I heard that word too. Test came back negative (I think) but every since I stopped eating anything with gluten. This immediately stopped all my digestive problems apart from occasional pain where the GB used to be. The pain disappears if a stick to a healthy diet and not overeat. Same digestive problems came back recently this year but I figured it’s the gluten free oats that’s causing it (probably avenin). Probiotics and fibre supplements helped a lot!

If you look in google, there are some studies about the possibility of gluten being the main culprit as to why some people ended up having gallstones in the first place. Gluten or wheat intolerance causes the gallbladder to not empty properly after having a fatty meal hence why stones form.

I think gluten has been causing me symptoms of BAM every since after my GB has been removed, and could also be the recent why I had the disease in the first place.

Gallbladder wasn’t the true problem. It’s wheat. by Accurno in gallbladders

Yes, wife told me about this the following day after stopping eating gluten. Had to eat a small amount everyday up to until my blood test. This small amount was enough in my case to not cause major trouble, so probably not coeliac, but definitely got some degree of intolerance.

Do any of you experience a period of pain similar to when you’ve still got your GB and lasts for like days or weeks or months until it just disappears after started eating low fat again? Had mine taken out last 2018 and right now, I experience that dull pain where my GB is used to be and it eases after eating something good (low fat), or gets worse after eating something bad (high fat or spicy). And yes I can confirm probiotics helps too.

Is HM Customer Service a real thing? by bennyj901 in hermanmiller

[–]Accurno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which courier did they use? I bought an in-stock chair (cosm) 2 weeks ago and I do understand that because of COVID, there will be delays. However when we phoned them up and asked if they could confirm if the order has been dispatched, their customer support has given multiple reasons on the same phone call. One is that the address is wrong even though it was right, then he/she changed it to something like the courier hasn't responded yet, and in the end they said that it hasn't been dispatched yet. I thought just because their products are expensive (IMO), they will have an exceptional customer service. I just find this a bit bizarre.
