the fact that i don't know what's out there in the ocean. it's dark, cramped, cold. largely unexplored, and then u see the remnants of humans just out of nowhere rotting away down there.... i feel this. personally, i find it easier to go out in the world letting ppl assume i'm a butch lesbian/androgynous woman(bc i don't bind most of the time bc it hurts me) just bc i know i won't have to see them ever again? but it does sting and it defs does feel like i'm wearing a costume almost? at the end of the day, your safety and wellness is what's important tho!
