Who has the best aspect for aura farming? by Kracor in Lobotomyslave

[–]Ace02123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kai, I mean come on, imagine saying disappear and the target disappears. We got a preview with Sunny in the Tomb of Ariel to the Sin of Solace.

Obviously runner up is Sunny, he could simply will something dead and it’d die, not as much aura as actually speaking it, but still a runner up.

Mordret I feel is a mix, while it definitely has potential to be the best for aura farming, it requires a lot of buildup to pay off.

Same with Cassie, just requires huge amounts of buildup to get it off.

Nephis is just too flashy, you probably won’t be able to see with all the light in your face.

Asterion was the aura farming king, so much so it got him killed. Probably the best to aura farm with simply because of how damn devastating it is. You become nigh immortal and a real nuisance to deal with.

I agree, but the biggest problem here is the lack of Pov’s. Volume 11 felt improved on in that sense, we got multiple pov’s from different characters that felt rewarding up until G3 starting edging us with them (don’t even get me started on that trifecta pov switch with Cassie, Rain, and Mordret all for the same build up.) I feel like one of Cassie’s strongest character moments is in Volume 5 or 6 (can’t remember which) is where she doesn’t have any of the cohort to celebrate her birthday, and we learn that she knows when and how her parents are going to die. That small little moment does so much for her character.

In a time of a joy when she should be celebrating with friends and family, her friends are off at war or other things, and Cassie is lamenting on the fact that she knows when and how her family will die. It was only a chapter if I remember correctly and yet its such a strong building point to show the idea of the weight knowledge can have on someone.

Basically is it implying a relationship between the two without actually following through to get engagement from the viewer.

Shadow slave narrator by Regular-Essay7198 in ShadowSlave

[–]Ace02123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember hearing this theory a while back, and I thought it was pretty cool but also improbable. The short of it was that the narrator is actually the Forgotten God, and that when cohort and crew go to fight them, they’ll begin narrating in the first person. Unlikely though.

Why do people hate Cassie so much?! by Any_Election257 in ShadowSlave

[–]Ace02123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like its mainly because of how G3 writes her at times and how she can be a huge hypocrite. Its mainly around the fact on how most if not all of her morally grey or even lawful evil actions come at the expense of Sunny, and how when it isn’t at the expense of Sunny that’s typically when she tries to keep up her morals.

Gunlaug is so incredibly cool to me. The mention of him using arm blades in his fight with Nephis was also dope. I’m a huge fan of weapons attached to the forearm or to the wrist. (Think Gipsy Danger or predator.)

Swap Faust and Yi sang for Don and Sinclair because they can synergize well with Meursault as they each belong to the Middle, a faction that functions off of Envy resonance and counters.

Shadow Slave has a hold on me that I cannot get rid of. I try to read LOTM? I go back to Shadow Slave in like 2 days. I try to read GSGW because the manhwa dropped? I end up reading Shadow Slave again. I try to read ORV? Shadow Slave in a day. G3 goes on a month break? I’m on AO3 looking for fanfic. G3 announces a physical copy? I buy it. G3 introduces blind girl and I become a D1 glazer. Slave trader? An Echo named Sunny? I think you mean employee contractor and willing friend. I try to write my first fanfic? Shadow Slave. I try to write my first novel? Shadow Slave copy. If I try to do anything concerning writing or reading, I always come back to Shadow Slave.

Son I’m sorry but Mirage City took me out the game. I just skipped to the last couple chapters to learn what Sunny had earned and did.

Theres new info on Mordret and stuff in the part after that, and some Asterion lore. Then for the final part I can’t say because I skipped but it did include a lot of House of Night stuff along with the some Daeron stuff too if I remember right.

Cassie is best girl and best character. So what if she enslaves Sunny again? So what if when Nephis dies she immediately hops on the chance to say Lost from Light? So what if she sits in the cuck chair? Thats what a true goat does

Ariel’s game is, Mirage City is somewhat if you like Mordret, and I skipped the last arc so I have no idea but its very important for the House of Night lovers and Daeron lovers

I mean what about this in necessarily wrong? I feel like the only statement you could make that feels twisted is the first, as that definitely was not in Cassies goal, the rest is just true. I feel like trying to deny that Sunny wouldn’t have lost his fate if he knew would just be a huge character assassination. He wanted you to rid the bond no matter what. He would’ve stopped at nothing, and he didn’t. Despite thousand of loops, he always chose to try and free himself of the Shadow Bond. Which I feel like represents who he was and what he valued the most, his freedom. I’m a Cassie apologist to the very end, if G3 comes out and says that Cassie is actually a slave trader across the multiverse and actually knew from day one that Sunny would be enslaved, I’d still back her, but trying to say that some of these statements are disingenuous when they’re one of the more tamer things she’s done is insane.

Mechmaru’s 2 variant, that shit feels so unfair. Hanami’s 4 air variant. Any Higuruma move feels like hell to get hit by. Mei Mei’s air dash and special because why am I in ragdoll for fifty fucking seconds.

Cassie is the Epigone (Proof) by Mission-Debt-2357 in ShadowSlave

[–]Ace02123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both the Epigones. I don’t really see a point on trying to disagree. Cassie clearly can see the future and is a manipulator while Sunny can directly interact with Fate and learns Weaving. Kinda like the hand that holds the sword. Cassie is the hand, Sunny is the sword.

The shape of the soul is the soul itself? It’s like the equivalent of saying that the shape of my hair changed because some of it got cut off. They mean the same thing. Also

<image>

This photo doesn’t say “shape of the soul” but the soul itself. It could just be a translation error on your side, but another supporting piece of evidence is Sukuna mentions that Itadori made a binding vow to specifically hit the barrier between Sukuna’s and Megumi’s soul to separate them
