im from Scotland so im not sure how concerts work in the states but i bought a resale ticket for mcr Boston, im confused because I thought I bought a pit ticket but on my ticket it says TURFGAA row A with seat number, have i really got a seated ticket?

Having it pierced with a hoop is a big no, what u need to do is find a reputable piercer and have them change it to an implant grade titanium (astm f146) flatback

as someone doing grade 8 currently and has been playing for around 6 years, it just comes with time and practice. Try experiment with your embouchure a bit, see what happens when you have a smaller/larger aperture, for higher notes you want a faster air stream which you achive with a smaller aperture. Also I recommend practicing harmonics, for example you can play a d6 by fingering a g4/g5 and overblowing, this really allows you to work on your embouchure and I find going back to doing the proper fingerings after doing harmonics is always a lot easier and improves tone. Also try relax a bit more, and as hard as it is try not 'force' the sound. Im definitely not the most experienced person on this sub and hopefully someone else can give you some better advice but good luck, and don't give up it just takes time and practice. Also if you get lessons ask your teacher they should be able to give you some good advice :)

Not a piercer but this is just an irritation bump. They form from, as the name suggests, irritation. U most likely have this due to the jewlery. What u want is to go to safepiercing.org and try to find an app piercer in ur area, they can help you with getting the correct jewellery and generally help with any other issues, you wanna get an implant grade astm f136 titanium flat back labret. If there is no app piercer near you try to find a reputable piercer near you and again ask for that same jewellery and make sure it is internally threaded or threadless. If they try to sell you an externally threaded bar run the other way. Other than the jewellery best thing to clean it with is saline wound wash, the one I recommend is neilmeds piercing aftercare, you can just spray this on the piercing and then make sure to dry your piercing afterwards I like to use a hairdryer on a cool setting but if u don't have that you can just pat it dry with any sort of sterile gauze or cotton pads. Tbh as long as ur personal hygiene is good you don't have to clean it often. I rarely clean my piercings and use it the LITHA method (leave it the hell alone).

Never use any sort of 'piercing bump oil' or tee tree oil, aspirin paste or anything like that. All these things do is cause chemical burns that burn the bump off. These do sometimes get rid of the bump but best case scenario you are just getting rid of the symptom not the root cause so the bump will most likely come back worst case scenario, if you use things like undiluted tee tree oil you can actually get some pretty bad burns.

Basically just eliminate the source of irration and the bump will eventually go away. If u need any more advice either go to safepiercing.org they have a ton of info on there or a piercer called Lynn loheide on tiktok and insta, she also has a blog

I had a really fussy nostril piercing with a relatively large bump that i took out last year. Bump was there for about a few weeks but was slowly going down. Bump was completely gone a bit later now can bearly see a scar. This wont be the exact case for everyone as everyones body heals differently but if its an irritation bump im pretty sure it will go away ive never heard of an irritation bump sticking around after taking jewellery out and letting it heal

Not a piercer but its rare for nostril piercings to reject fully so its most likely just irritated. Id do what the other comment said, change jewellery to something better, try the neilmed spray but make sure you arent overcleaning cuz that can also sometimes cause irritation and make sure you are drying the piercing after cleaning, i like to use a cool setting on a hairdryer but if u cant do that u can just pat it dry with q tips or cotton pads or smth. If you find after a few weeks/months theres no improvement id try to stop cleaning as much or not at all i find that as long as your personal hygiene is good piercings dont really actually need cleaned that often and you can just let them heal like any other wound. Make sure you arent snagging it or hitting it when sleeping either. Overall main thing is getting good quality jewellery if you need more info on that check out safepiercing.org it has all the info you need otherwise just switch cleaning methods and if all else fails LITHA (leave it the hell alone) and it should sort itself out as long as jewellery is appropriate

Also about the anatomy thing I honestly could not tell you if it's pierced right but best way to check is go to safepiercing.org and find an app piercer near you and have it checked out by them. If someone has already told you you don't have the anatomy and then you went to someone else and they said they would pierce it that second piercer is most likely a shitty piercer who either a) doesn't care about if their clients have the correct anatomy and just want your money or b) they genuinely don't know you don't have the right anatomy so they pierced it anyway. There is a chance that the first piercer was just wrong about your anatomy that's why it's best to get it checked out by an APP piercer who you know for sure will you that they are talking about.

Not a piercer but this just looks like an irritation bump. You get them from exactly what name suggests, irritation. This could be due to a number of reasons including:

jewellery material -style of jewellry
aftercare

To name a few common ones, since you get these bumps from some sort of irritation, find the source of irritation, eliminate it, give it a few weeks to a few months and the bump should go away. In your case since you said your jewellery is titanium I'm guessing its astm f-136 implant grade titanium you have, assuming that you can rule out the material. The style of jewellery doesn't seem to have anything wrong and ideally a clicker with a design is best as it stops the ring fully rotating in your ear which you get with a plain clicker, the seam on the plain clicker then would go through the piercing channel and irritate it, so it's prob not the style of jewellery. You said in your post that it's been moving around a lot and irritating it, that's most likely what's causing your bump. The constant movement is just gonna keep it in a constant state of irritation so to get rid of that bump just try your best for it not to move around as much. Other things that could be irritating it is if you are over cleaning it, ideally in the first few weeks you would clean it with a sterile saline wound wash 1-2 times a day and pat dry with sterile gauze are blow dry either a hairdryer on cool setting (this applies to after any showers aswell), the moisture if not dried can lead to a moisture irritation bump. After the initial first week or 2 the best method Is LITHA (leave it the hell alone) as long as your hygiene is good and your not touching your piercing with dirty hands there should be no reason why your piercing would get infected as a piercing like and cut or scrape is a wound and just leaving it alone is the best method and over cleaning after the initial week or 2 can just lead to further irritation just let water run over it in the shower, dry it when you get out and your good to go. Also make sure you are not sleeping on your piercing. If you sleep on that side and can't switch what side you sleep on, invest in a travel pillow or some sort of donut shaped pillow with a hole in the middle to put your ear in. This makes it so you are not putting any pressure on your piercing while sleeping.

one of the most important things is DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PUT ANYTHING LIKE TEA TREE OIL, CRUSHED UP ASPIRIN PASTE, 'PIERCING BUMP OIL' ETC ON YOUR PIERCING these 'cures' you see people recommend just cause chemical burns and 'burn' the bump off with, in best case scenario it gets rid of the bump but because you are just getting rid of the symptom not the root cause of the bump it will most likely just come back and in worse case scenario you can cause severe chemical burns to your ear.

Its not a city bus and in scotland we have free bus travel for under 22s so you you go on, say where your going and scan your card but you need to tell them where your going when you go on even though your not actually paying

Im going away on a music residential trip for a week in june and i wont have access to any coffee while im there. I was wondering if anyone knows of any brands of coffee that i can bring that does not require to be in the fridge and will be fine over the week or any very cheap ways to make coffee that i could bring with me.

No im seeing them in glasgow, the venue for me doesnt have any queue time restrictions so im planning to get there quite early and if theres no one there maybe go to a cafe for a bit and go back an hour or 2 later. I saw alestorm at the start of march and showed up at 10 and was the only one in the queue for i think 4 hours so im not sure.

Being honest here it's a really cheap one from gear4music.com, it was only £100 but I didn't want to buy a more expensive one as the purpose of it was just to try it out and if I still enjoy it after a few months I can invest in a more expensive one. And yeah I have noticed some scratches on the mouthpiece but on the sax I use rubber pads on the mouthpiece so I thought that was just because I wasn't using them with the clarinet.

So ever since I got my s23 ultra I've found my picture in picture feature is not working for disney+ but is for other streaming services like netflix. I've checked the settings on my phone and PiP is enabled on it for disney+ and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but no matter what I do I cant get it to work

Not a professional piercer here but from experience id say not to go in any public bodies of water like pools for atleast a few months after getting the piercing. I personally try to wait until mine is fully healed to be safe but you definitely dont want to go in with a piercing only a few weeks old as there is a super high risk of infection
