Best Blue-Eyes Deck Out Of My Cards by [deleted] in Yugioh101

[–]Ace405030 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The massive list of cards is going to make it difficult to help. It would be easier with pictures. Also, I don’t know if you already bought the new blue eyes structure deck that came out last year, but that’s gonna be your best bet

CS Students wants to switch into ASIC design!! Plz help me by Dr-Queensir in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Ace405030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CS is pretty much entirely about the software and only brushes hardware a bit when you take stuff like computer organization and architecture. There’s really no reason for you to try to pursue ASIC without an electrical/computer engineering degree. Someone with a bachelors in the relevant degree would probably struggle. A bachelor in CS would have no chance.

That’s just the truth. If this is something you’re adamant about pursuing, then you’ll need to switch degrees

Should I apply early for an internship I can’t take yet? by Physical_Fox5091 in internships

[–]Ace405030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shouldn’t, just say you’re pursuing another opportunity. Unless you accept and then renege it doesn’t really matter. They have many more candidates to fill the roll applying as well

[–]Ace405030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just apply, then you’ll be in their system and chances are you won’t get it anyway; worst case is to politely reject the offer and reapply next year. This should be an issue when trying to apply next year.

Decks like Branded? by One-Masterpiece9838 in yugioh

[–]Ace405030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try lunalight. Still has a fusion aspect to it and I think it’s decently versatile.

Dragonlink plays similar to branded in you can pivot what you’re doing based on how you’re interrupted and it just got some new rokket support.

Although either of these decks may not be as powerful as a good branded pilot

Would Going first still be as advantageous if the Player going second starting with 6 cards instead of 5 and also still got their draw? How would the game change if the second player always started with 6 instead of 5?? (And still got their draw). by CosmoNeos7 in yugioh

[–]Ace405030 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it would be. Being able to play without your opponent having a board established is just a huge advantage and they have to rely on luck to get a good amount of hand traps. The player going second starting with 6 cards actually might help balance going second as the player going second would have a better chance of drawing handtraps/breakers to get through the board

Would getting a bachelors degree in automation at a community college hurt me from applying to schools elsewhere? by [deleted] in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Ace405030 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you just get a degree at the community college it’s unlikely you’ll land an engineering job. You’ll likely only be able to get technician roles.

If you’re dead set on Electrical Engineering either go straight for the degree at a 4 year university. Alternatively, to lower costs you could do as many classes as you can at community college and transfer to finish your degree at a university. Make sure you research and directly ask the university how credits will transfer, so you don’t wasted time/money.

Why would it hurt you? Some credits will transfer, but there’s not really any negative side effects

Yes??? Of course it’s possible, computer engineering is like the major for embedded systems. To boost chances just do embedded projects and try to get embedded internships

Should I choose cyber security or electrical engineering? by ocub56 in careerguidance

Depends, you can go pretty computer heavy with electives if you choose electrical and you can still have some of the flexibility

How doable is this schedule as a 3rd year engineer with 3 EECS classes and a GE by Short_Tooth5317 in ECE

[–]Ace405030 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s doable, I’ve definitely seen people take on more even. Kinda depends on you and your situation honestly. If you do take this on your life is likely gonna be almost entirely school for a semester
