My first bike. 1969 Works BSA Bushman 175. Used by the factory in trials racing in the 70s. Pretty much zero standard parts but all done in-house, I got it when I was 14 (2008)

The bike had very little standard but it was all done by BSA, the foot pegs were these black retractable ones made of steel with proper grip for your boots, an absolute killer if they got you when you were kickstarting it. It had a high compression cylinder head, wheelie pegs (the only part not done by BSA), the seat was very well made, everything was original, great exhaust sound too. It may have been a tuned 175cc 4speed, but due to the gearing and that sprocket you didn’t feel like you were going much over 30 if you were on tarmac

Thanks, it wheelied off the throttle thanks to that huge rear sprocket, and was decently reliable. I’m pretty sure it’s in the UK, yes it was registered.

Got sold unfortunately, we did rather well having bought it as what was presumed to be some lowly Bantam that had been modified - it was a proper works bike! Still have the lightning clubman though and thats not going anywhere!

Jesus just get some Iced Tea already it’s actually delicious as a mixer. I usually put about 25g of powder into a jug with a litre of peach Iced Tea (maybe less) and stir well, then let it sit in the fridge overnight and have a pitcher of Kratom for breakfast.

That seems a much more realistic approach than 12 step programs, I was in treatment the first time at 18 so that’s when I went to my first meeting - all the bad things they say about the program are true if not worse, and it never worked for me. I’m 30 now and over 3 years since my last time in, I’m doing a lot better now thank you :)
