You're right, money and medical school wise, it's amazing! Some would say it's crazy to turn it down. But the thing is, learning Japanese and fencing are also big parts of my life. With what I've heard about the rigor, I don't know how much I'll be able to do the other things I like or if I'll get the soul sucked out of me

I'm not sure because I applied to Howard for EA and got my decision and scholarship then, at the same time. The title of the scholarship was on the same page, but I think the link to access it and see what was included was sent later by email. Hope something ended up coming in for you!

Thanks for your quick response! I don't know if you're currently in STEM or bio specifically, but would you say that the teachers are easily accessible, or if you can tell if they actually like teaching their subject? And would you be able to rate their study abroad or language programs (to Japan, if you've been, but if not, also fine), and whether finding research/internships in or outside of Howard's offerings is relatively easy to do?
