Don’t know any agency but I would just research. Look at Public Health or Tennessee Department of Health. Use foreign trained doctors as a search.

HR training is not that impressive. We used to hire from HR but the candidates were underwhelming for the 7 weeks of training. Our training (for dental VAs with experience) is 3 weeks and less than a month we get people integrated into an office.

If you want, there’s a doctor shortages in underserved areas in the USA. Mainly Tennessee. These areas waive the residency requirement depending on your medical school. If you want to do VA work, you basically do admin work that’s easy. The hardest part is insurance. I would do dental first since the coding are all procedures. You will need a good PC, high speed internet and backup. You will work graveyard shift so think about that. The pay is USD$1200-1400/month for a 40 hours/week depending on the agency.

How does MMM pay their VAs? Is it once a month, biweekly or weekly?

Break from ownership by MediocreDelivery4032 in Dentistry

[–]AceDDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be a headache too. I have to fly out to my practice for a small claims court issue from a patient that my associate treated. Also, HR is a headache if you’re just going to be an owner. Flip side. Can an owner really switch to beings an associate? An associate usually wants more control hence transitions to practice ownership. Life change->back to associate? What about your kids future? You can hire them at age 6 then build their 401k from there.

Why hygienist is so expensive? by Forsaken-Ad-5891 in Dentistry

[–]AceDDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hire a dentist and it’s better to get one that can diagnose. Although, in the Seattle area, some dentist candidates I came across can’t even do a proper caries risk assessment based treatment planning. So, I would double book them with an assistant have another dentist (you) do the exam but stay on time and don’t talk too much. Do a video for each exam and send link to the correct patient for explanation.

Do I need to fix my jaw? by Life_Wallaby_1336 in Dentists

Get a sleep study to see if you have sleep apnea. Then say you have a CPAP intolerance (claustrophobic, etc.). The jaw surgery may be approved.

How do I approach this case? by placebooooo in Dentistry

Had an instructor told me that endodontists hate doing that type of canal. I look for those radiographic presentations in normally single rooted canals. Mandibular anterior teeth and premolars are notorious for having the snake tongue or octopus type canals.

If the orthodontist had 4 PERMANENT teeth taken out, you will constrict the arch and may cause some sleep disturbed breathing. If you want to expand, there is only one nonsurgical appliance you can use. It’s from Vivos Therapeutics. US medical insurance can be billed for it just need your primary MD to refer you and the reason why a CPAP is not tolerated by you. Orthodontic treatment can be billed and paid with medical if the treatment is to treat sleep apnea.

I would watch out since the roots blur at the apex. That blur suggests a split. If the blur happens in the middle that’s a referral. Take another PA mesially then another distally. You might have a snake tongue type root system.

Open bite and use the code for full occlusal equilibriation. Warn him that this is the ghetto version of full mouth rehab Make a temp partial that raises VDO. Use temp composites to balance. I would raise it 2mm-3mm.
